Eddini:
A few years ago I had a great deal with a very good restaurant. In return for one night of walk around, me and my wife could visit the restaurant anytime, as much as we wanted and dine at no charge. We did tip the staff. This lasted about two years. It required a quite a bit of change of material. Since I have done the Svengali pitch for many years to great success, I decided to do this a few times. After going through several routines with the deck claiming it to be sleight of hand, I than did the final convincer. I said now as close as you have been watching me do you think it would have been possible to switch the entire deck right in front of your eyes? By now they were sure I could do anything with the deck. I said well I have switched the entire deck for one with ALL nines, and ended he routine showing all the cards the same. It went over well, got the great reaction it always gets, and was not exposure. Hope this helps. Dick Brooks

Thanks Dick yeah that does sound a bit better. There's always been debate on whether or not to "change" the cards to all the same. Some say don't or they'll know your using a trick deck, whereas other think that the turning them all into the same card is a great finale as it was intended for. Though I too have done different routines, like the Maven or maybe Anneman sublety where you put the deck next to a ashtray for it to be cut long ways, yes Maven I sure came up with that ploy I believe, the dealing back in forth into two piles using magiciands choice...etc (See Bitterman I DO know how to use this deck), anyway I'm of the school of thought if your not doing mentalism do change them to the same. I've even had people be like (Eddini do the trick where they all...etc for my friend). I do like your idea and wording though. Here's a nice little routine I saw on the internet. I picked up on it straight away, I mean everyone knows the beginning showing, but this bartender did this trick for this Black Sabbath all woman's band, and believe it or not I wasn't even looking under magic, it was a subscribtion I had to one of the band mates, and she had one video out of 40, titled Bartender Magic, where he showed this band this trick. The language is foreign and being a bar it's kinda loud, but you see the routine. I think you'll like it despite it's obvious weakness which isn't too, too bad, heres the link, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.
