Card College, Vols. 1&2 The Classic Collection, Vols. 1&2 I know, I squeezed five into three (and if you count the separate books contained within The Classic Collection it's closer to like ten books or something), but I will refer to these forever. |

Darwin Ortiz: Strong Magic and Designing Miracles
Harry Lorayne: Apocalypse Jean Hugard: the trilogy (Royal Road to Card Magic, Encyclopedia of Card Trick, and Expert Card Magic) I really think that Erdnase is like a chapel with high priests and sect followers but that it way is out-dated. The fact that the Professor, at the time, didn't have much alternatives doesn't mean that we have this problem. Descriptions there, even in the annotated version, are not very clear and cannot render an effect as well as several DVD of the same move well performed by several performers. Several magicians of this generation have kept creating things with a much more free spirit. Magic is alive: it's not a Mausoleum. The books I selected are about magic alive.
Magic is the art of emotionally sharing live impossible situations
