I have been road testing a few of the TA tricks in bars on a recent holiday (Belly Button, Unstable Label, Ripped & Fryed, Lubor Lens, Naked Strange and Twighlight Angels). Been getting some amazing reactions to them. I was a bit sceptical about Unstable Label and I did get one person say that the label was in the bottle from the very start, but another time, one girl nearly dropped the bottle when the label was revealed - a great moment Smile

Hi Tony,

I've been intrigued about "Unstable Label" too but haven't taken a crack at it. What would you say is the ratio of responses to that one? Was the girl who called it out just an anomaly?

Hi Bugjack

The one that did 'call it out' was an anomally. I did try it at least 10 times and overall, the reponses I had were very good.

Anybody performed Muscle Bend using the bending method taught on the dvd? I've bent a few coins that way and there are two marks on either side of the coin because you know what squeezed against it. If you have bent the coin this way and performed Muscle Bend, do people comment on the marks? It's always been the opinion of those around me that you should make sure you don't leave any marks on a coin when bending it. The method taught on the DVD set is great and amazingly practical, but it seems very careless considering the evidence left behind.

I agree with your friends. You don't want "marks" on the coin, so I didn't like that aspect of the explanations. I did think it's cool how the arm crook of the arm is being used as a hold out.

Does anyone know if the Paul Harris chat will be made available any time soon? How many hours was he online chatting? I checked 2-3 hours after it was scheduled to start and it was over.

I don't see any mark on my coins, so maybe it depends on the secret something. I'm somewhat wondering though about Muscle Bend if it will look magical or more of a stunt, since some spectators may think that you just have strong biceps.

The chat was about 2 hours, and I do hope it comes online soon.

Believe me when I say that I've performed Muscle Bend many times and each and every time it has always created a huge moment of astonishment and always laughter. They never have a clue as to how it was done. I always give them the option of using my arm or theirs, like in the dvd, and they always chose their arm. This makes it stronger. I guess maybe the marks appear once you bend it right at the very end of the process. Maybe I should bend it just a little bit less and there won't be marks. This method is so much quicker and easier and more practical than using a sock and pliers so I want to get it to work without leaving marks.

I tried bending it less and it still leaves small marks.

Maybe it's because I used the same something each time lol. I should try another one. Not very reliable if it varies though. You'd never know if it will leave a mark or not.

I just happened to check the Paul Harris presents website (www.paulharrispresents.com) and noticed that some refill items are available. You can get 3 Lubor's Lenses for $20, and there's a free downloadable PDF with which you can print your own coffee cards for "The Weirdling." Replacement TA pens are $30, and "Twilight Angels" refills are 30 for $20. No sign yet of the Twilight Angels deck, though.

Hi there. This is Janet...Paul's little sister. I'll be opening The new Paul Harris Presents site hopefully within the next week. Feel free to look around..but if you order something it could be up to a week before we are ready to send out orders.

Can't wait to get back into the astonishment world and meet some of Paul''s old magic buddies!

Welcome Janet!

As for Unstable Label. I've used this a few times and people have loved it. If you're careful you can continue to drink from the bottle even after you've got it ready to go. This has been one of my favorite ones to perform in impromptu situations or have it ready for when people see me out.

For those who know Unstable Label, it's all about the presentation. Be sure to listen to Gerard closely and this one will work great for you.

Hi Janet,
Thanks for the info and I hope your eye is long healed up and not smoking anymore. What was it like having Paul as a big brother growing up?

Muscle bend: I already have another commercial bending gimmick, so I use that ahead of time and it does not leave any marks, I have not tried the method in TA.

Welcome Janet! It is great to hear you are on board. It will be great to have someone that that is family and really cares running the business. Sounds like good things ahead.( And it will give Paul a chance to relax and create, lol.)

Paper Propeller. Anyone try this yet? Not being a cigarette or pot smoker I do not have rolling paper on hand to try it. Maybe I will try just using some other thin paper next time some pops up.

I've seen several being sold on eBay. It's somewhat sad how some just brought the set for a profit or just for a quick watch to gain secrets.
