Yeah mine didn't arrive in NJ either. Postal is definitely not the way to go next time. Here's hoping for Monday!

This is why I love you man! There's no guessing... you just tell it like it is Smile

Anyone else have a problem with their disks rattling (vibrating) in their DVD player? Doesn't do it as much on my computer's DVD drive, but regular DVD player disk 2 rattles so much that it stops playing (every other rattles a bit but not as bad as that).

Since each disk is copied separately it seems strange that it would be all my disks. But no other magic DVD or movie DVD does this on my DVD player.

Suggestions?

Yes, there is just too much magic on those dvds.

Mine vibrate my computer like crazy, it looks like there are lots of imperfections on the dvds which I am kinda upset about. Would that cause weight problems or something? I don't know, I might end up backing up all these dvds just incase.

What kind of imperfections? You can actually feel something on the surface?

I did notice the picture quality was terrible on some of the Easter eggs. It's a minor complaint since Paul and everyone gave us this wonderful gift.

Just to clarify things at $300 they do seem to hold good value, but they are certainly not a gift. And at over $500 Australian dollars with postage, I expect them to have no imperfections.

I have not received mine yet so hopefully they are fine.

I've watched each disk and had no problems.

Nothing is ever perfect.

$300 is a real bargain for all the A+ material, props, and beautiful wooden box. You will not be disappointed.

I thought it was just me, mine vibrated vigorously too. But I was able to watch them though without problems.
Great stuff.

My friend Rob said 6 out of 9 of hid DVDs vibrate so bad he can't watch them. They skip and vibrate so much it made his DVD player move.

Mine play fine though.

I meant the quality of the actual discs, not the content. Perhaps it only happens in some dvd players.

Quality of the pictures and the content is great.

The actual playing of the DVD disks is terrible. When they spin, they rattle and vibrate like crazy.

Sounds like some have the issue and some don't.

And I double checked other DVDs in this player, and these are the only ones that do this.

All nine of my disks make a horrendous noise when playing - and quite frequently they crash the dvd player - most likely due to repeated read errors. I've still managed to watch everything though but it's a shame this happens. Most likely it's down to a slightly below par media quality. I've tried them on a standard DVD player, both my PC DVD drives, my XBox 360 and my PS3 and I get the same problems on all players so it's definitely not my hardware at fault.

I didn't mention it here before because I'm more than happy with these purely because of the unbelievably high quality of content. Since others have mentioned similar problems however, I thought I'd put my hand up too, so they don't feel alone ;-)

I watched all 9 discs on my Macbook Pro. I haven't tried them in my regular DVD player. They did cause some vibration and noise when I played them. I guess it was most/all of the discs. It didn't affect the playback quality though. I had no skipping, etc, the discs were totally watchable.

I've had other discs do the same thing in the past, as I tend to watch most of my DVDs on my laptop. I guess it's a potential peril with DVDs in general. I've never been able to tell by looking at a disc why it would or would not cause vibration, because I can't see any imperfections or warping in the discs.

Also, a little while back, someone asked about profanity in the set. I honestly couldn't remember when the question was posed, because it just hadn't been something I paid attention to. After that question, as I continued to watch, I found that it was a mixed bag. Some of the "big" swears are bleeped, while "lesser" ones are left alone.

This is my fear, and I don't know how realistic it is: that one day I will put them into play and they won't. And at 300 dollars, it worries me some. Packaging, box, items that came with the set, quality of the effects I have seen so far... FANTASTIC, PRICELESS. Not being able to watch them - that wouldn't be so.

One suggested backing them up, and I might do that to be on the safe side. However, if someone hears about a disk replacement program that gets started, please let us know.
