Hi Guys:
I am glad you guys liked what I did. Hopefully the full ball routine will appear on "Masters of Illusion". Frank Starsini: I am still many months away from shooting my "Ultimate Guide to Billiard Ball Manipulation". I have a lot of ball material to learn and analyze before I can teach it properly. Plus the tremendous response for my "Ultimate Guide to the Miser's Dream" has put a lot of pressure on me to do a really good job on the Billiard Balls DVD(s). Also, I have a bunch of actual magic tricks that I am trying to bring to the market and that takes a lot of energy to get a new product line started! And of course I am still performing all the time.. Best regard to all, Levent (flying out early tomorrow morning to start a two week tour).

As a beginner, everytime I see a performance like that,it makes me practice longer and harder and with more quality to the practice. That was amazing.

Hi Guys:
From what I understand, I will be doing two spots on tonight's (March 9th) episode of "Masters of Illusion". The first spot will be near the beginning of the show and the second will be near the end. I shot a total of six different routines during the taping and I really don't know which tricks will be on tonight, but I hope it all looks OK on the HDTV. Best regards to all, Levent http://www.LeventMagic.com

I've said it before, the Benson book changed everything for me as far as my philosophy of how I perform magic. I am indebted to Levent and Todd Karr for that!
I also have to say that Levent's manipulation skill is simply mind-blowing with different twists on things that even throw us magicians off. The laymen's jaws probably have to be scrapped off of the floor after each show. |

Thanks Richard, David, Tony & Daniel!
For those that could not watch the show last night. I will post a new thread that will offer a YouTube link for the clip of my opening routine and I will put the link for the Sympathetic Silk in the "Smooth as Silk" forum. Or you can find the clips here at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9Z_F1-CZK0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WyQCJ2ffvSY Best regards, Levent http://www.LeventMagic.com

Levent,
Your billiard ball routine is Excellent, Excellent, Excellent. I now think I will sell my Fakinis and go back and play with my Strat-O-Spheres and change bag........ (Sniff, Sniff, Sniff) |

Darkwing:
No don't sell your Fakini's! Or at least not until my "Ultimate Guide to Billiard Ball Manipulation" DVDs come out! Just kidding! Seriously, to me the Billiard Balls are a great trick that stand the test of time, they are easy to carry, show up big on stage. But, in a way, they are like speech. If you don't have a lot to say don't talk too long. Most ball routines are usually best if they are short and to the point. Do the best routine you can do, within your abilities and you will be alright. By the way on the DVD I will (among other things) be teaching Cardini's full ball routine using a custom set of 2 1/8 inch Fakini's). And to help me out a close friend had given me two of Cardini's balls that Swan Cardini had given him. Handling the hand turned wooden balls that we used by the Master himself, really teaches me a lot about how Dick Cardini handled the balls and gives me a lot of respect for anyone who used wooden balls. Tough Stuff!! Levent http://www.LeventMagic.com

Levent,
I haven't even bought your other two DVDs yet (that is about to change). Looking forward to the billiard ball DVD. Any time line? By the way thank you for your advice and your kind and encouraging words. David |
