Hi~ This is jacob...

I really like silk magic... Recentlly, I saw the silk production act from youtube..

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUY8J04PekA

It was very nice and smooth routine for me... So I wanted to understand whole

routine... I saw this magic so many times but I still have some questions for that..

First, 0:45 scene : He blowed snow storm but he show empty both hands.. where did

it from? I thought sleeve but I am not sure...

Second, 1:13 scene : He made a appearing silk from air... It's really good act..

Anybody know that trick? Is it special gimmick? Where Can I get that one?

Third, 1:28 scene : silk streamer.... Is it selling general magic shop?

Fourth, 2:24 scene : knot off silk... Where can I get that silk?

I know duran laflin's magic shop but they are selling 3 knot silk for 36"...

I am looking for 1 or 2 knot for 36"

Fifth, 3:15 scene : chameleon silk... Did he use just chameleon silk tube trick or

his own trick?

Sixth, 4:13 scene : balloon to silk... Did he use special gimmick? or just put in

silk production?

Last, 5:45 scene : He showed giant flag staff production do you know where is it

Selling?

I saw this magic over and over again but obove questions I could not solve by

myself... That's why I posted here... If anyone have some ideas about that

Please let me know... Thank you...

Hi Jacob:

These are all commercially available effects. Go to some magic dealers and do a search for "flagstaff production, balloon to silk" etc. You're really jumping way ahead of yourself - you need to hang out here on the Café and get an idea of how things work before you try to "copy" a routine.

Jacob,
I applaud your excitement. But you need to walk before you run.

If you like Silk magic, Get the Rice Encyclopedias. There are tons of good silk magic and it gives you a good overview of what is done with silks.

Keep the excited attitude but take time to do some research and reading. You will never regret it.
