Hi, I recently decided to invest in the Amazing Jonathan's Knife Through Arm, wanted to go with the best.
Well I ordered it, through a dealer who I will not mention, it turned up today in really poor condition. It was bought 'new' but is clearly second hand, I am not the sort of person to throw mud in the forums and I have emailed the seller. In the mean time as I fear that this item will not be exchanged as there are not many of these floating around, can anyone offer advice as to how to clean a 'stained' blade. It is clear that the knife has been stained throught use ans is visible from a distance. The kinfe itself and the workings of it are so good, I am just very very dissapointed with the condition of it. I hope there is some advice out there! Kind Regards Ash |

When you say "stained" what does that mean? I would try something as simple as ketchup on the blade. Let it sit for a few minutes then wipe off. There are also some jewelry cleaners and cloths that might work.
I have a jumbo half dollar that looked really bad (very dull and tarnished) and was going to just through it away. Someone told me about using glass cleaner (Windex) and Bon Ami, a non scratch cleanser. I just worked the cleanser and glass cleaner into the coin. I finished it off with a jewelers cloth. It looks like a mirror. Just some thoughts. DP
