I got some couple of questions to ask about Dan's topit.

Do I need to wear suspenders?

Is it a transferable topit?

What the percentage sucessful of accuracy than other topit?

Is it easy to make?

Does the guideline of the making the topit clearly explain in the DVD?

Does it require special material and stuff?

I hope that the following question can be clear most of the member's and mine doubt.

The DVD isn't even shipping yet, so the only people that are going to be able to answer your questions are those who are already in the know. If it's coming from Sylvester, I'm SURE it's good - just buy it!

Thanks Corney for the advise. But I still stick to my traditional method. A good planning goes a long way. I like to do some homework first before I get something that suits me and more practical stuff.

I have to agree with Symmatrix. I work Renaissance Faire's and my costumes can very depending on the type of faire and the whether. I'm currently having my wife make me a vest with the Ammar Topit, but there are going to be some times that I am going to want to use different outfits, and before I shell out the money for the DVD, I want to make sure that I am going to be able to use whatever it is in this environment.

Does anyone know when this DVD is going to be released?

Nevermind I just looked back thru the past comments on this topic and saw it looks like Kevin James said it will be out in one to two weeks, but I would like to know when the Animal Planet special is going to be on that he stated in his post.

I was thinking that too. I was under the impression that you can JUST wear a T-shirt.

Again, I wouldn't expect to get the answers to these questions any time soon. The DVDs are NOT shipping yet, so noone has this. Wait a couple of weeks, then maybe someone can answer these questions for you.

Right on Symmatrix. I was told how great the Elevator was and it turned out to be a piece of junk. Why shouldn't we know the method? I should be informed in case it doesn't fit my style.

Kevin james sells alot of over priced material. His rose video is still over $40 and maybe when it was first released that was ok, but not today.

You shouldn't know the method beforehand otherwise no one would buy it. Not the unscrupulous ones who'll go out and make the gimmick themselves denying the creator the money they deserve and not the magicians for whom the magic is lost once they've been exposed to the secret. If you're not sure it would be right for you, then don't buy it. Or get feedback from others who have it. Just because you find certain things to be 'junk' after you get them, MagicChris, doesn't mean we need to change our entire system. When you buy an effect, you're mostly paying for the method, not the gimmick. Until people understand that, we'll still have these problems.

The bigest problem is buying over the Internet. I would never have bought the Elevator if I had seen it in person. a scatchy video sold this item.

I don't want to pay $60 for a DVD and find I won't use the method.
