Thanks... this looks fun. I picked it up and will read through it.
I am actually thinking about it for a stage show more than anything, but am interested in all venues. I will look more intently at the material, and PM you when I get to that point. Thanks! John |

I can see this playing across most venues. There is some very clever handling; I especially like the first phase in this context. It is a great throw off for the phases yet to come.
Chris also supplies some very valuable audience managment tips that are applicable to many effects. I know the plot has been suggested by others but I don't know that it has ever been released in this kind of detail from someone who obviously has used it a great deal and skillfully communicates his passion for his presentation. |

Fantastic - I'll have to take a look at this as I have been working on a mentalism version of Clue for some time, using original props from a travel set of Clue. This version sounds too good to miss.

Mark, the routine is fantastic, but when you see how beautiful the e-book is put together, you'll fall out of your chair. Seriously, this is one of the nicest I've seen in a while. In fact, after seeing this for the first time, I immediately contacted Chris with regards to designing my next project... it's really profesional.

Hum... This looks VERY similar to an effect performed by Richard Osterlind on his first DVD series and which is TOTALLY based on Anneman (I don't see what is added here)... Am I wrong?

Hi Ben,
The routine is based on an Annemann routine. However, I'm giving you the enitre piece straight out of my act. I have added my personal tips, handling, audience management advice, theme, and scripting. A lot of the tips and advice were developed through hundreds of performances and were designed to make sure the routine plays strong every time without the posibility of any hitches or mistakes. So even if you have the original Annemann routine, there is still valuable information contained here that will improve upon it (in my opinon). For example, the original Annemann routine required a force. My routine does not require any forces. If you do end up getting the e-book, I hope you enjoy it! -=Chris |

Chris, my original thoughts when seeing this where about the script value. Seriously, when I read the line about "how long have you been married?!" I laughed out loud. That's priceless.

Just performed this the other night and then followed it with Jason Palter's fabulous effect Red Carpet. The response was amazing. Red Carpet really was a naturaly follow up for this and the audience loved it. If any of you who purchased this also have the Red Carpet, try out the combination and you won't be disappointed. These two routines combined together are really my ideal way to close a show.

I just got this, all I can say is WOW! this is the way an ebook should be created. Besides the top notch quality of the ebook this is a real worker, as meyegr stated above, this is a real gem. Straight into the act this will go.

This is great. Got it last week and love the idea. I spent the weekend working out an impromptu version and can't wait to try it out.

Everyone seems to be pretty upbeat about this effect!
For those who have and perform it, do you consider it mostly for adult audiences, or is there a way to customize it to work with children (such as at a large library show)? TED |

Hm...
it is mind reading and I am not sure if the kids will understand that you are reading their minds. I am not a friend of mental effects in a kids show, but maybe you can give it a try? However, the first phase where you reveal the location of the murder letter for letter will be difficult to pull off with children not yet familiar wioth the alphabet. Stefan |

Hi Ted,
I actually perform this in a family based show with adults and kids (8years and up). That being said, I only use adults as the volunteers for this. If you are going to be doing a show where the entire audience is comprised of kids, I wouldn't suggest using this. -=Chris |
