Above collecting by Darwin Ortiz is very strong.
What do you mean by fun?

I've mentioned it elsewhere, but I really like Clairvoyance by John Guastaferro. It's fairly simple to perform (requires 2 partial/perfect faros), and leaves a lot of room for presentation. With the right presentation, it can be a real jaw dropper.

Steve Beam’s Triumph handleing (the title escapes me right now) and Paul Gertner’s “Unshuffled” are both nothing less then great.

I think that Ken Krenzel's Gun Trick would be ideal. This effect gets a reaction that is far out of proportion to the work required.
Paul LePaul's Acrobatic Aces is another one that uses a faro, looks impressive, but is fairly easy to do with a bit of practice.

Check through my stuff over the years - you'll find lots of faro miracles with, obviously, regular cards. HL.

The Gun Trick springs to mind immediately.
Always do sober what you said you'd do drunk. That'll teach you to keep your mouth shut.

Anything which uses a faro precludes "it" from being, "fun."

Vernon's Aces, found in Harry Lorayne's Close-Up Card Magic... it suits all of your criteria... and as an added bonus, your audience will love it.

Just a joke...
You wait and see. You have to do a faro and it binds and you've been doin' them for years, but with this deck, it's not faroin... I have decks that I can easily faro, but sometimes they don't and I can't A.

I can't believe John Bannon's Last Man Standing has not been mentioned here, it is his in the hands Triumph effect; uses a faro, but it doesn't have to be perfect.
Dawn Patrol, also John Bannon is another strong effect, it is described in Dear Mr. Fantasy. This one requires a good faro. Michael |

Here's a bit of work for you --- try to find a copy of the March, 1964(!) - I think - Linking Ring magazine - me on the cover, and my One-Man Parade inside. All faro/spelling/aces stuff. HL.

I really like Calculation Aces by Marlo - it can be done in the hands. (You need a couple of other sleights)

Not many know the Steve Spill paint brush trick where you faro the long edges of the deck. I think it's in Spill Bar and Grill.
