Once again I'm teaching review courses for the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) exams, and wondered whether we have any candidates here. If so, what Level? (Oh, and my condolences on losing another six months of practicing your sleights. And why are you wasting time on an internet magic forum when you should be studying?)

No, but I've written, passed, and taught material relating to various of the actuarial examinations. And there is significant overlap between the two, as you may know.
Say, in your experience, how has the financial crisis affected interest in the CFA exams? Or has it?

By the way, Financial Reporting and Analysis is the biggest portion of the Level I and Level II exams - about 20% - and is the topic which the candidates seem to hate the most (followed closely by Economics). |

Just kidding. But your expertise in topology keeps your Magnus-status high
