I spoke with someone at Blackpool that is good friends with David who summed it up perfectly. He said he isn't a master technician but he very much understands the moment, and when people watch his magic they 'feel' like they have seen the real thing.

I think that is a very hard thing to be able to do, yeah you can impress people and have them enjoy and love your magic, but do you make them believe? David very obviously does. If he started to perform in the middle of Blackpool, do you reckon he would ever be able to get away without upsetting anyone? People were upset enough and bitter when he couldn't hang around anymore for photos. He went there for business after all.

I personally don't enjoy his stunts much, but if that is what he wants to do then so be it, no one HAS to turn on the tv to watch him.

It is tough at the top I suppose!! Smile

btw apparently he was in the UK performing for a huge football (or soccer) club, so yeah he does perform!

All the best everyone,

Ben

I wasn't knocking him - more like knocking those who think he's the best thing since,... err.. the last best thing, whatever that was..
