Hi All,
OK -- just got a new PK ring and it's real nice and shiny -- I need to dull it down a tad -- stands out way too much as it is. So the question is, anyone have any ideas on how to tome it down? Maybe someone has actually done it???? Thanks, Davi |

Dull coat is a spray that painters use to take the glossiness off of paintings. You can find it at any craft/art store. It will spray on clear and dry quickly. It will most likely wear off, but used in such a way, a single can should last almost a lifetime.

It's also what they use to make invisible cards. You can electroplate it, but that's prolly too expensive. Either that or wear down the finish on purpose.

Just wear it a while. Wash your hands, put on lotion, etc while it's on. It'll dull down.

Are you OK with a rough look to the pk ring?

Sounds like you got the chrome plated one. Try a silver plated one as it isn't as shiny.
