1) Erdnase 2) Eddini's Color Change. YES IT'S MINE. It just 2 combined into one I've never seen anyone else do. It's natural, silent, and clean to me IMHO. 3) You tell me. Do they call this the "Flick Change"? It's not the "Snap Change", because with that you snap your fingers. Blaine does it. To me THIS one is probably one of the MOST VISUAL, and STARTLING of all color changes, almost like the "Cardini Snap or something Change". Who invented it. They deserve mad props. 4) Erdnase Again. Look NOT (Swear To God) to start drama, I feel, just because of my wacky sense of humor I'm not taken seriously as a Magician, and my videos don't get watched as much as others or I don't get feedback. Again sorry about the noise I can't help. I know in the past I've been rattled over some feedback. I've never said not to give me feedback, just ONLY do it tactfully and kindly and offer suggestions. THAT'S ALL. If it's just a "Share Video" I'll specifically say so. Behind my colorful personality is a Magical Artist (I hope or try to be). Much Love & Peace, Ed, (Eddini), C.H. P.S. I already know on color change #4 there's just a slimmer of a flash. On #3, the "Set Down" before the change looks weird but I don't know how really to get into that set-up. I want it perfect as it a lot of times doesn't land completely square. So sometime I quickly square before the reveal which is okay just not as good as a perfect land.

On your Erdnase changes, you can see the edge of the card by your ring finger and pinky.
Keep at it. You will get it. |

Thanks I don't really use color changes in routines. How do you like MY color change which is just a mixture of the Side-Steal motion, and a Sideways Erdnase. Just something I played with. A card is halfway sidejogged and by squaring it with the rest of the deck it simply changes. You'll also notice the psychology ploy I use. I mention, WITHOUT mentioning it (if you get what I mean) what they think is the second card. Now why do I do that? Just in case they try to back track and be like oh he somehow swtched it with the card underneath, BUT I do it as a observation, so I'm not over proving. I like my change better, For ME it's easier, and yes I'm a discreet hand licker as my hands are real smooth. As for the other change EXTREMELT RARE due to angles. I was surorised I did it halfway descent. Anyone know the name and creator of change #3? The other best card change ever is Peter Eggnick's "Melt Change". I mean you swear you see the INK itself move to fit into another card, I LOVE it. Yes on my 4th change there was a shimmer of flash. As far as my personality that's just me. Yes if it was a different card I wouldn't have sung (badly as I can't sing...lol). Thanks, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.

The second change looks like a sideways erdenase but with an uneccesary sidejog. Try placing the thumb of the left hand on the top left corner of the top card (all from your perspective). In this position the thumb of the left hand can jog the top card over to the left (again, your left) under the cover of the right hand. Your hand is then in the perfect position to execute the erdenase change but at the side as opposed to the bottom. As soon as contact has been made with the underlying card, the left thumb can swing the top card back into place. From the spectators view, the top card never moved, as the action of the left thumb was covered by the right hand.
I think Guy Hollingworth might have some nice work with a sideways erdenase change. Also I might be right in thinking that Jim Pace does something similar in the DVD visuantics. |

Oliver I tried that but a bunch of cards wanted to slide. Then when I did it , it was noisy. I like mine. I just need a reason to side jog it. I can S.J. it and ask if that's there cards, and outta curiousity name the card below as I do. It's the "Eddini Color Change" which all it is is a sideways erdnase with a side steal look. I LOVE it, it quiet and natural to me at least. Still no one knows color change #3? I want to say it's the blink chane. It's so startling when done right, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.

The tipe of your forefinger on the front edge, and pinky finger on the rear right edge, should help prevent more than one card sliding. The car pivots more than slides, with the base of your left thumb acting as the pivot point. Give it another try, you'll like it.

Ed, when you are doing the Tenki palm, you do the "vanishing thumb" trick. That does not look very good.

If I can't do something (with a few exceptions the faro, and it took like 2 days to learn the Mind Power Deck, but I liked the effect so much it was worth it) within a hour or two, then I toss it aside DEPENDING on what it is. As I said I DON'T do Color changes and am not into flourishes except for card springing and flipping a card spread over. I ONLY do Color Changes for fun, or to show off, though I enjoy watching others do them good. Ben, I've done Magic 17 years, seriously 12 years, and I've never done cups and balls or the rings. I like Magic that is simple, yet punches hard between the eyes, like Red Hot Mama, and 40% of the time I use GIMMICK DECKS. I collect them. I just like them, and how they work. I do the Standing Ovation, (but with Brainwave as I'm slow at math), Cards Across (Malone), Direct from the factory. There are just things with a gimmick deck you can't do with regular cards. In my case I have at least 8 decks. Now I have a Straight Deck, Macdonald's Aces Deck (Though I know a sleight of hand one from Regal), Detour De Force, SUM Deck, In A Flash, Anniversay Waltz, Svengali, Mental Photography, Brainwave, A Set-Up Deck for Card Warp, plus packet Tricks, ESPecially Wild, B'Wave, X-Ray Box, but you use regular deck for that, thumbcuffs, Forks, Book Test, Rope for C'N'R, ACR Deck, I give a card away, when I get to half a deck my straight deck becomes my ACR-To Wallet Deck, and a new deck for straight deck, BUT 60%-70% I do sleight of hand, Ed, (Eddini), C.H. P.S. Plus I have like another 30 gimmick decks I switch in and out. Oh yes good point Danny, very true, I get nervous of flashing I guess, Thanks.

The odd look to the hand is the worst "flash" you can possibly have.

Ed-
I don't think there is anything you can get down within an hour or two. ANYTHING. Everything in this video, from the changes to the get readys, need work. Serious work. But since you admit to not wanting to spend time working on them I couldn't possibly offer more then this. Ed, we're still friends (I hope), I just can't help you. All the best, Ben

With a ton of work, you could be doing these changes well. Right now, in my opinion (which really doesn't matter), the changes you performed are quite detectable. You have numerous moments in which you flash concealed cards and that just won't work for anyone, regardless of who. Then again, I'm a teenager... my opinion matters not.

You are right and I thank you all. I do need more practice. I love the Bertram Change, it's just so magical looking and would love to master that one.
On a totally un-related matter, I won't be on for 7-14 days. I need a "Rest". PLEASE, please do NOT think it's the site's fault, you'trying to help. For a few weeks just everything has been caving in on me, my stress level, is extremely high, and I'm having "Personal Safety Issues", and need to be somewhere, where I can be protected. Look with my Illness (Bipolar), this is NOT uncommon. Every few months I need to "Get Away" so I'll be alive another day. I LOVE and RESPECT you all, though we maynot see eye to eye at times we're cool. I'll be on later. Take Care, God Bless, Peace & Love, Ed, (Eddini), C.H.
