It is so seldom that a positive word is spoken (when things go right). I thought I would take a moment to thank Maxwell at Penguin Magic. I bought the new James Biss book "Blowing Minds", which was ordered around Jan 30.
Since I opted for the free "mule mail" shipping, I took plenty of time before I notified Maxwell that my order had not appeared. He was obviously surprised when nearly three weeks later the package had not arrived. I emailed him and he was quick to offer to ship another (which sadly would have been delayed in backorder status). This would have been at his expense. Nonetheless, the following business day (today), the original package finally arrived. On the package was the shipping label which had been shipped immediately, as agreed. My point? This was not their fault, but Maxwell was willing to "make it right" nonetheless. Happily, no party is out their money or goods, but I wanted to publically thank them for their commitment to satisfy a customer. It is appreciated. With regards, Sean Waters |
