I want to bump this thread.
Just saying. I figure that my post count means that I can bump a thread when I want. Anyone have loved ones in Iraq or Afghanistan? Let us know. It means something. I'm an anti-war peace-freak kind of dude, but those guys and gals in harm's way deserve special prayers/thoughts/considerations. |

My nephew was in Iraq and / or Afghanistan doing base and equipment inspections for the U.S. Air Force a month or two ago. Where he went was classified, so I don't know precisely where he was. But it was somewhere hot and sandy.

Well, I do know it was within those countries I mentioned (plus Qatar, which I forgot) ... just not sure which bases or locations therein.

Glad he made it there and back safely and all. I have had friends and family members there. I do not know of any there now. Except for one that goes at intervals as an escort although he is part of FBI.
