Not that I am a true fan of our current President, but to some... They are, including many of our spectators.

There are a number of commemorative coins/bills with his face on them, both Silver or Gold plated coins and in many sizes. Many are seen on eBay.

Anyone have any good effects using any of them?? Spellbound Changes?... Coins appearing from a Lincoln $5 bill?... Chink-a-Chink?...

I'm more curious on patter using these coins/bills in routines.

Any ideas??

This is the government's economic stimulus package: money being spread out all around the country. You work for SAIC (or Booz Allen Hamilton, or whomever) and your job is to keep track of the money - to make sure that it doesn't end up in the wrong place. This corner . . . is me!

Just dress up like him and make money disappear all night... you'll have an extremely authentic act...

Or show them and mention that it's not right that you have several of them and the spectators don't have any--"redistribute the wealth" and give them away, one to each person.

Politics in performance...you are a braver man than me.

Ok, 3-fly on the soap box...my latest. 3 silver dollars here on the right that represent the corporations, the businesses and even the small businesses...the most productive people in our country. And here on the left, those who don't produce or even pay taxes. Say the magic word..."Barrack O Breshnikov". Wow, look at that, the wealth is magically changing hands. The rich are magically giving away their hard earned money! Oops, another! Sorry...off the soapbox I go (de-levitate if you will).

Salby, all kidding aside, virtually any coin trick can be done with these. If you're just looking for presentations, you'd probably be better served to work them out on your own. There is a large percentage of people out there who don't like politics regardless of the party. Further, America is about as evenly divided right now as it ever has been between the two parties, so fully half (or very nearly so) of your potential audience members will be offended if you are supportive of Obama, while the other half will be offended if you're not! IMO, it's not worth it--why go there?

If you don't want to do any politicallly-slanted presentations, as I said, just about any trick you can do with any coin, you can do with these, so I'm not quite sure I understand what you're hoping for in the way of responses.
