Does anyone have information about this close-up gathering? I've heard it mentioned but can't seem to find any information on it (either on the Café or web searches).

I believe you are talking about the FFFF. This is an invitation only event. It is held the last weekend in April.

Richard - thanks but no. There is one in the fall I believe that's different than Fetcher's spring event. I may be wrong but the Buffalo Get-Together is not invitation only. Thanks anyway.

Yes, it has been in the past in October. Held in the Buffalo area.

It was kind of invitation only. At one time it was the Buffalo 52 and 52 and only 52 invitations were sent out. It has expanded a bit since. When I attended, Dan Block and Randy DiMarco were running the convenion.

Yes, It is different. Dan Block is the guy you need to talk to.

Yes, not related to the Toronto get-together. At one time they would send out 52 cards as invitations. While at the get-together, they would select a card from another deck and if it matched your invitation, then it was your turn to perform. Great way of getting participation over and above who was already scheduled to perform.
