I had seen an effect where in the performer places an object which tumbles when placed on the table, but the audience when places the same object, it does not tumble. Something similar to IMP bottle effect. It was nice performance.

There is a paper origami fold you can do this with. Will try to locate it.

It sounds like "The Tippler" found in "Harbincadabra".
