Well you saw the preview what do you think a cell phone in balloon sounds cool to me. However what I don't get is the first time I ever saw the cell phone in balloon effect is on Nefesch's " THE MAGIC OF NEFESCH" dvds volume 1 where The magicians phone penetrates a signed balloon and the phone is called both before and after penetrating the balloon. However Theory11 does not seem to credit nefesch on their website at all.

It's just a teaser video. I'll hold judgement until the DVD is out. Besides, it looks more like Sankey's Airtight that it does Nefsch's effect.

As said, "credit" is something that would NOT be showing up in a teaser. In fact, it's unlikely for "credit" to be in any pre-promotion material.
If there is a reason to credit Nefesch, and they are informed on it, I am sure there will be a credit. Also, no offense to Nefesch, but he is not the first one to penetrate an object into a Balloon. He may have been the first to use a cell phone, but decks, coins, single cards, etc have all been shoved into balloons under a magical context.

Garcia just had a video posted in the T11 media section, and he mentions that it will be released on Friday the 20th.

This idea is very old and some may remember Kenton Knepper using the same idea with a coin, however I am sure that garcia has added a twist or an update to make this effect more workable. I perform this with a deck of cards and there are some problems with the ending that I cant wait to see what he came up with.

No I am pretty sure the method has no similarities to airtight.

Well considering this can be done completely impromptu with a borrowed balloon and borrowed cell-phone, I'm assuming that this is something completely new.

Completely impromptu is a highly debated term with quite a few definitions depending on what one considers "Impromptu".

The effects on the DVD and lecture notes are far beyond your abilities. (They require mastery of the mechanic's grip.) It would only break your heart. Sincerely, Darwin Ortiz.......(This post has got to be in my top 5.) |

I have never been disappointed by Daniel Garcia.

I actually saw Daniel perform Fallen at Blackpool magic convention in a bar and it looked great when he did it, at the right time I'm sure it can slay people. However what is this about impromptu? Is it the magicians phone? I perform Kenton Knepper's Coin in Balloon a lot so this is really interesting to me.

No, it is a borrowed phone from what I've heard over at Theory 11. In fact it can be signed.

I thought Fallen was great. People just are to busy performing to bother PRACTICING it.

If you guys like fallen. You should check out "Cheng's Riser" from true astonishment dvd set. Wow, no lies its COMPLETELY impromptu/ All sleight of hand. You'll love this one if your into visual card rises that you can incorporate into your ACR routine.
Getting back on track with "Pressure", I'm interested in reading some reviews about it. It really does look similar to air tight by Jay Sankey. |

Particularly, if, after the visual rise in Cheng's, you can finish the last 15 or so cards using Fallen. Food combination if you ask me. Save for going from a one handed rise to a two handed one, but, still, a nice visual finish to it. Any who, back on topic, this does resemble Airtight in effect, in that an object is penetrated into a balloon. As far as method, has to be completely different as this is impromptu.
