Greetings everyone,
I wondered if someone could tell me how to pair an ankle switch with my iCue2. I purchased one from a member on the Café, but I can not seem to get it to work with my iCue2. Thanks everyone, Dorian

My understanding from Kelly Duro (and this was some time ago) is that the transmitter in the ankle switch would have to be adjusted to match the receiver. They are not all on the same frequency. So, if you purchased the ankle switch separately, it won't work without adjustment. If you bought the switch with an iCue2, it would have been set up to match.

I thought this might be the case. And now with Kelly Duro and company MIA I am out of luck....
Does anyone know how to do this? Dorian

Send a PM to "remote guy" and ask him...
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

It's possible it may be something as simple as DIP switches and making sure they match in their positions. I've never seen an ankle switch from VSM, so I can't say for sure.

Ok everyone...I have it figured out. I opened the transmitter and crossed the wires and it paired with the iCue2. yeh. Now I know it is the switch, which I assumed was working because I could here a faint click when I put a magnet to it. But I know it must be something in the switch. So out came the exacto knife, I cut away all of the casing and found that one of the soldering joints had come loss. Now to re-solder and put back together....wooo hoooooo
Thanks everyone, Dorian

My question is who is the jerk who sold you a broken item

GLAD it's alright. When you called last night, you sounded understandably a little panic-stricken.

Honestly.....the panic in my voice was realizing that the fact that virtual soundman was no longer in business could effect me in the long run. I mean, I couldn't even get the answer to how to pair the remote, not to mention if this things breaks....
As far as who sold it to me...I don't thing it was intentional and it is fixed, so all is well.... All the best, Dorian
