Lovell put out a book called "How to Cheat At Everything". In my opinion, it is a good book to read. Apparently I overlooked the section, however, where he extended the concept of "cheating" to his representation of the quality and benefit of a DVD set. As such, I am out for the cost of the James set. There are no victims ... only volunteers, they say.

I have both sets and dislike them both.
As was mentioned... Mr. Ackerman puts you to sleep. Mr. James... well... nuff said I suppose. Why did I dislike the Ackerman set? Because the explanations were terribly lacking in depth. Ya, he can do the moves adequately, and is some cases brilliantly, but I bought the set because I wanted to be TAUGHT! When it comes to teaching and learning, the Ammar 9 dvd set ETMCM and Daryls material is far superior. The over the shoulder shots are marvelous. |
