I should say the double reels is just two reels, one is used, the other a back up.

The reels are very simple in design but work amazing, these will be available through RSVP Magic very soon.
My focus really is on the hook up, we all want to do thr..d work & sometimes the set up & management are not practical !! My goal was to be set up all the time with no issues or problems allowing me to perform or not without worrying about your thr..d !! Some people would not leave the house without their deck of cards, coins etc. I'm always hooked up ready to go !! You don't need my thread reels to perform the hook up !! If you have any questions let me know & I will help in any way I can. Best wishes Mark Southworth |

I just received this from HP, and it's WONDERFUL. Not only material-wise, but the main DVD menu is gorgeous and the transition special effects are something out of a movie. I'm very happy with my purchase, one of the few DVDs worth forty bucks.

To Mark, on the DVD it appears you use a "regultion" 8 ball in th routine (you are in a pool hall). I purchases the ball and disc from the web site which as you know is a smaller ball and small disc than you use in the video. What do you use most often now

I have played around over the years with size of my balls (pool) lol !
Over time performing with various sizes & flat 8 ball sizes, I have never had anyone question the sizes etc. I use the products from my site (2") size of both the ball & the flat disk, I feel this is perfect for pocket management personaly, having performed this effect 1000's of times now & bigger isn't always better, the impact is the same. The ball is only in play for a short time, people don't recall the size, just the impact of a solid ball, which is now squashed flat which is what they remember !! In this case I say size doesn't matter !! Thanks Mark http://www.marksouthworth.co.uk |

Sorry, the ball on the Dvd is an American 9 ball size black 8
The ball I've used for a while now is a U.K 8 ball (2") |

I have been using this now for a few weeks at gigs and getting a great reaction, just a quick point I have bought a High Caliber Magic "UNO" which is perfect for a pool ball and makes the steal much quicker, I now offer them the pack to shuffle (steal the ball) and as they go to take them, take them back and say "yeah right" or whatever (with a smile) and I have the ball in position.

Hi Chris,
Glad your getting knockout reactions with the effect 3d Realization !! I like your thinking with the Uno, I would like to mention that David Regal has a nice little device that can be made in 1 minute in his Book Close up & Personal which has a lot of different uses for productions etc. In fact the book is Gold Dust !!! Thanks guys for your comments, keep them coming. Mark http://www.marksouthworth.co.uk |

I don't judge DVD's on the production values and flashy graphics, etc, but on the amount of material I will use from it. On this basis, Surefire is one of the best I've seen in quite sometime - as it's happens, it's also very nicely produced too!
It's not often I get anything I could use from a DVD, but to get 2 or 3 items I will actually perform for the paying public is quite rare. 3D Realization is a brilliant effect, easy, practical and above all, powerful! I'll be using this for sure. Blockbuster is a fantasic effect - not only is it a very strong it can easily be customised for many different themes and situations. I can see this being perfect for trade shows too! Business Card Bonus is another favourite from the DVD. In fact if it were the only item on the DVD - it would still have been an absolute bargain! I also really enjoyed the Supa-fast Chop Cup. The Chop Cup is an effect which has never appealed to me - that is until I saw Mark's routine. I could go on and on about how good the material is but if you are looking for material which you can go out and pay the bills with - Surefire is just what you've been looking for! In fact I'm sure this will end up being one of the best DVD releases of the year! Iain. |

I said in a previous post that Mark's style means he attracts the chicks.
I've been doing some of his tricks and using some of his lines I've already struck it lucky three times! Thanks Mark, not only for releasing some great material but also for helping me get the ladies. |
