Dear friends!
Harry is opening another shop— this one is MORE like a shop than Spade and Archer—it's a tribute to SIDESHOW items! CALLED SIDESHOW! It will sell jewelry, art, magic, gaffed animals, and much much more! It will be located in the French Quarter near Spade and Archer. Opening Day is July 14! Fluffy the chupacabra will be waiting for you. See my website for updates, pics etc... I will go preview it in June. Ellen http://www.harryandersonfan.com |

Ellen, why such a fascination with Harry Anderson? I know that he's a good magician, but most people would remember him from Night Court. Is that why you love him so much? And I will definitely check out the museum some time.

SEE DRAGONA—that is the ILLUSION!!! He's been around on the streets since the 70's—magical community '76 on. Night Court just made him super famous, BUT he and his wife had been running tricks and acts before then! Many people on the street have NO CLUE he was a magician— but I did. (My earliest performance I have on video was them on the DINAH show in Vegas 80's).
Why Harry? Well, many aspects of him interest me and also I have similar interests in common. I can relate to his transient life— moving around when he was young. I admire his street act— working up to the point he didn't have to work! I love his fascination with the bizarre— where I too have such a fascination (can't wait for SIDESHOW). I did Love Night Court (as a show), but I primarily LOVE his magic, his comedy (associated with the act) and his collections. He has had such an interesting life— and he is also a very genuine person. Need I say more? Hee hee. I've been a fan for 21 yrs! BC (before court). Thanks for reading. Ellen harryandersonfan.com |

I knew he was a magician turned actor but I didn't know exactly why you loved him so much. Thanks for clearing that up for me. It's nice to see that one person around here is in their own crowd.

Yes ellen, Harry is great to watch, learned a lot from his needle thru the arm... and love his routine with his hat that changes shapes.
It's not the size of the wand,
but the magic in it ! |
