First off I would never hand them the phone inside the balloon unless they grab it from me. They don't care to have their phone in a balloon, they just like being impressed by seeing it go in. I prove that it's inside and then I take it out slowly in front of them and hand them back their phone. That means they'll never even know that there is condensation on the balloon. Plus, if they do mention it for some reason, you point out that you just ripped a hole with your mouth. That should be sufficient information for them to put the pieces together.

Seriously people, $20 for a download of a single trick that is not new? Maybe $6, but no way $20.
Even Digital Dissolve came with a DVD and a very nice Gaff.

Performed this twice today at a walk around gig and was surprised at the reaction. The first time I performed it, it got screams. I agree that because of the moisture, you really shouldn't hand it to someone. I also think it is critical that you ensure that you do the initial penetration so that you can show the phone on both sides. Being able to immediately show both sides is what sells this effect.

I've got to say I found this trick to be worth the 19 bucks. Quick and visually stunning. I've not found the cleanup to be a problem, I handle it very casually and I find that some people forget I even did it. As far as moisture is concerned, I've not experienced any excessive amount - most can be left on your own hands during the cleanup.

I performed this yesterday twice and the reactions were great. I usually don't hand them the balloon, I just have them pull the phone from the balloon...i find this trick to be worth it.

White and Garcia have released a gem.. I'm surprised this didn't feature on Blaine's special. It is one hell of a visual effect..

I do not own this trick (I'm checking on the responses here before purchasing it) and I've seen the demo vid. Couldn't the spectator blow up the balloon, hold the neck of the balloon shut, and hand it to the magician before their cell phone is used? Certainly the spectator wouldn't mind his/her own slobber on his/her own cell phone.

Any issues with once the Phone gets sucked in the balloon and the FRONT of it is against the nozzle of the balloon, but when you hand it to them, the BACK of the phone is against the nozzle??? Hope this makes sense to the people who own this. It's a descrepancy that I would think is obvious because that just saw the front of the phone before it was sucked in the balloon. .
You know how to make God laugh?........... Tell him your plans!!!

To Salby, this is not an effect that can be scrutinized closely and will not fool all of the people all of the time. I would not make this a pivotal effect in a show however as a through away quicky it's great. If it fools em great, at the very least even if they realize what you have done it is entertaining in its execution.

You know I don't think this its a bad effect/idea. Problem is many people will know exactly what happened simply because they are not stupid. not to say if you were fool that you are, but many people just understand exactly how this works right away.

Yeah it's a great trick but I agree with Joshua. The other day at a party I did this because there were balloons laying around and they said to me, "that's not a magic trick! that's just a party trick."
