The connection is: get a peek using the extractor and reveal it with ID

Yes, the two could be combined, but why would you want to? The ID is a great stand alone effect and with the right presentation (see Michael Dardant's work) is even a great magician fooler. The Extractor is an excellent way to produce a signed card from an impossible location (pocket, from the middle of another deck, etc) so why reveal the selection using the I.D.? In my opinion, you are wasting the potential of the Extractor by revealing the selection with the I.D. Do one or the other, or either at different performances.
