I recently recovered from a life threatening injury, and many of you were very supportive, especially Tony I., the "Old Gramps" of the "spirit world...lol.
I recovered from that, but in October, I had an accident while building a magic prop that shattered my wrist and broke 4 ribs. The ribs are fine and I'm out of the cast, but I still have a metal plate in my wrist and very little feeling in my left fingertips. It makes it had to do any magic for my nieces and nephews, or build any props (mostly thins I build for myself). The surgeon says that when they remove the metal plate from my wrist, I may get the feeling back in my fingers, but that won't be until May. I'm afraid I'll never get the feeling back. My favorite hobby and way to pass the day was to practice card manipulations, but I can't do what I can't feel. I'm not really a spiritual person, but I guess it couldn't hurt if some folks who are put in a good word for me. I built some some pretty cool close up pads before the accident, and if anyone wants to take a look at them, you can mail me at jeff.jeffcoat@snet.net. I'd like to show them off here since I put so much work into them, but have no clue how to do that. Take care, and hope all is going well with everyone who heeds thoughts and prayers now. I'm not great at prayers, but I will absolutely keep you in my thoughts and wish the best for you or your loved ones. Jeff |

Jeff:
I consider myself spiritual, but not religious. Consider the good words sent to "whatever Gods may be". Meanwhile, maybe Richard Turner could provide some inspiration to you. Yours is a different challenge, of course, but perhaps you can use your sight to overcome lack of feeling? Due to hand problems, I got into rope magic- it's less tactile by far than cards. People seem to be as amazed with rope magic as with cards, and it is easy to have a couple of ropes in your pocket at all times. Might give that a try... Good luck and here's hoping the feeling returns... Jim
Also known, when doing rope magic, as "Cordini"
