I have only been to about 4 of these shops, but my favourite is The Magic Store. Because they demo nearly every trick they have, before you buy it(or even if you don't).
They are reasonably priced, but the shop is faily new so they don't have a huge range of stock. But new stuff arrives in their store each week and can order stuff from overseas for you! Abracadabra has a huge range, of stuff and they are in the know when it comes to magic. Bernards have a magic club(whch i am appart of). But mainly have a huge range of things from novelties and clowning equipment as well as magic tricks but they seem to always be out of stock of things(esspicialy magic props). Taylors magic shop, correct me if i am wrong is good but i think they are only a small buisness. I have been to a close up convention they held and he didn't have a big range of tricks with them at the time, to sell, But are relyable and all in all a good magic supplier. Here are some web adress that might help http://www.bernardsmagic.com.au http://www.themagicstore.com.au (worth a look) I am pretty sure there is an internet site for Taylors Magic Shop and the Adelaide Magic Factory, but i cant think of them right now. Someone else might be able to help you there. Anyway hope that helps, if you need to now anything else, PM me and i will try to get back to you.

I live in Cairns in Far North Australia and buy off taylorsmagicshop.com online - quality products, reasonable price and Sean gives advice by email or phone - and has gotten things in for me I've heard of, but didn't know where to access - living so far from any suppliers it's good to find one you can trust.

I highly recommend Taylor's Magic Shop. Sean Taylor is a full time working professional with experience in all areas of magic and performing venues. Taylor's Magic is possibly the largest magic shop in Australia. Sean is very knowledgeable, extremely helpful and most reliable. If you require a particular item, he will find it for you or advise of its practicality. Phone number within Australia is 02 - 9411 6233 One of the highlights is his yearly convention called Superday. This year is the tenth year of Superday with guests including David Williamson. Just a plug for Trick or Treat Magic Café, you can visit them on the web at http://kikkii.com/magicfactory/ or go to their store (which also has a great Café!) at 239 Waterdale Rd, Ivanhoe, Victoria. They are incredibly helpful and will go out of their way to get what you need at the right price. Call Tammii or Tim You on (03) 9499 4706
