Wouldn't it be great if we included the routine and maybe where you found it, like in a book or DVD, or as a sold packet trick, some of you did just that, while others just drop a name, no one knows all these names and surches can take a long time.
I love an effect called Girls Night Out, you show 5 bathing beutys, and the spec goes thru a short story how he will end up with one of them, turn face down now and he ends up with a real ugly duck, it has truly shocked many guy's, I got it at the magic warehouse for around 10 bucks |

Not a big card guy but really like NFW and the Daley Trick. These tricks work really well when I do them. I like them because they are stunning and require a little sleight of hand that appears pretty slick, at least I feel like that when I do the effects. I feel like I'm a real card guy and I sure think the specs feel that way. NFW and Daley Trick, hard to beat them.

"Girls night" out done for guy's, really get's them,I use this in trade shows for clients, telling them they have won a date with any one of these girls and to be fair to the girls , they will have to choose in a ramdon fashion, and for Gal's it would have to be "Common Scents" they really think there is a perfume smell.

Although I'm just getting back into magic again after many years, one of my favorites, which I purchased sometime way back in the 1970's, was Nick Trost's Roadrunner Card Trick. It seemed like a great card trick for kids at the time. But as my son has been grown for awhile now, I don't know, are kids familiar with the Roadrunner vs. Wyle E. Coyote cartoons these days, I wonder?

My version of the Ten Card Poker Deal, a five phase routine where the spectator, using the dark side of the force, wins the four first one getting money, my gold lighter, my watch, my car..) before he uses all the deck and betting all he has won for a one billion dollar bill and losing everything he has won to a Royal Flush that he dealt to the performer (defending the rest of the audience), but being allowed to keep the billion dollar bill as a souvenir.
When the thread asks for our "Favorite "Fun" Packet Tricks" it fails to precise whether it is fun for the performer (which seems to be the case for most of the replies) or whether it is fun for the audience. To me, it seems that the spirit of the question concerns what is fun for the audience more than the satisfied desire of some performers to humiliate their audience (most of the three card monte quoted: I didn't see Bob Sheets routine in there, a rare one to be concern with the audience feeling well).

The tree of hearts. Three threes are show. The three of hearts changes into a tree with hearts hanging from the branches.
Happy family (I don't know the correct name). A King, queen, jack, and joker are shown. When they are shown again, the king has "turned his back" on the rest of the family. Every time they are shown again, another card appears face down. Then all the backs change from red to blue and finally, all the backs are shown to be blank. |

I like the idea of Ron Frost's Carderfeier, involving printing errors.
Although I would like to have seen a Queen that had the colors out of registration.
