Can you imagine the phone calls they get for this:
I setup a Dell (Win XP) with a wireless keyboard and mouse, today. There are ominous and obvious cautions that state, "Don't install the batteries in the keyboard, or mouse, until you first boot the system. Then you have 10 minutes to install the batteries." Ok. I respect that. I push start on the system. It opens to a splash screen that says (I'll paraphrase): "Familiarize yourself with all the licence agreements....PRESS ANY KEY TO CONTINUE..." |

Where is the any key located anyway? I have never found that one.

They had to put that under a FAQ!?!?
If people aren't smart enough to know that, how the heck are they going to get to that page?!?! Then again, it was my ex-wife who thought to turn on the computer, you had to talk dirty to it. |
