PS: I'm not making this up - I knew an apprentice baker whose surname was Moron - and he was allergic to flour.

His family always pronounced it "Mor - roan" but a Moron is a moron no matter how you say it. Not his father though - he was a policeman and I always called him Sergeant Mor-roan - cowardly of me.
