Hey Guys!
Thanks for all the purchases so far - When releasing an effect based around a linguistic force, I was very worried that people wouldn't see the strength of the technique and shrug it off - GREAT to see that this isn't the case and to hear performance stories ALREADY!!! To answer a few questions, Fooksau, I actually perform it as a thought of card in wallet, so I have them name a card and pull it from there! You are right in that it is a little predictable to have the card in plain sight, but dude, seriously, people go MAD for it - Simple and direct plots that are as transparent as placing a card down can be REAL convincers that you're the king of influence! There's a lot more you can do with it though, imagine having several cups on the table, the spectator turns away and you place an object under one. They turn back and name the cup! Or handing them a folded piece of paper and they name the number secretly written upon it, you could use ANATE as a force for Stigmata... The possibilities are endless with a little imagination. I go over a fair few applications in the book, along with some really good outs too, but the flagship effect is Simplex Killer, which is the card in wallet plot. All the best! D.

This effect as absolutely fantastic! I love psychological forces at the best of times but this is practically sure fire. Never before has a force like this been so easy to pull off practically 100% of the time. This is an awesome idea and so cleverly conceived. Dee Covers EVERYTHING in the PDF. Explains how and why it will work. It’s completely practical and something I personally will be applying to many plots I already perform. Dee also covers more ideas with it. It’s very easy to come up with your own plot with it. It’s just so awesome! I think it could even be something that those people who don’t like psychological forces. This has to be one of the best effects to come from Dee Christopher!

Lol. Ben you fiend!
He sent me a package a couple of weeks ago, I live in a penthouse above an old office building, so they sort my post - I was approached by the landlords and asked if me and my partner had some other guy living here as the addressee on the package was something along the lines of: Dee dee dee dum doo dee day. Thanks for the comments Jamie, I'm really glad you like it!! Jamie's had some GREAT ideas for use with the technique. I'm sure he'd be happy to share with a PM! All the best, D.

Downloaded this and just to add a bit of perspective to the adulation !!!:
1) Will this work ...yep I think that with the right amount of practice it is a worker - because of the nature of the effect though, if you are buying this as an amateur with a limited number of potential spectators its worth knowing that you are only ever going to do this to a group of people once...if you do it one on one you'll probably get a bit more milage on it. 2) Worth the money - yep probably to a pro..to an amateur I am not sure...also I think calling this a book (in some posts on here) is a bit much...its an 8 page pdf. 3) Does it do what it says on the tin ? Welllll... Yes. The primary effect described in the booklet is for the spectators chosen card to appear in a wallet...the piece that gets the attention in these reviews is the one card on the table effect. This is indeed described in the booklet but doesn't get a huge amount of extra detail and is basically a couple of lines to describe how you'd do the trick using what Dee has taught for the wallet effect but also using some other basic mentalist techniques which you should already know. Overall, as an amateur, I'd give it 6.5/10. |

Dee,
Is this technique used to force a specific card every time (ie, it would always be the Ace of Speades), or do you have leeway to force different cards? Thanks, RO |

I am fully confident performing this, as of yet I have 100% success rate.
I have had this idea that I'm going to try out tonight: You planted the card on a spec a while before the performance. A while later go into the effect. Imagine how completely and utterly fooled they would be when they find that their thought of card has materialized in their wallet/pocket/etc. I'm gonna give this a whirl later on tonight and let you guys know how it plays. Again, amazing work Dee! Cheers, Lloyd. |

I was thinking corner but I don't see why a folded card wouldnt work. The second idea should work grand to. Good thinking.

Great thinking guys! It'd be cool to see lots of routine ideas on the thread - get the cogs turning!:)
Rich, it doesn't have to be a specific card every time, however, it does kinda. The suits can vary, but not the value. I know that most people will use it for a card force, but this has so many more possibilities. There are a few in the ebook, and I'm currently piecing together a supplementary ebook with further routines and ideas from myself and other contributors which will be available soon - If anyone has any routines of further thoughts to contribute, please send to DC@DeeChristopherMagic.com All the best, D.

Just as a quick note, after reading Lloyd's idea of the double and then placing the force card in their hands I tried it out last night in a bar over here. It was RIDICULOUS.
Great thinking there Lloyd! D.

I really like this too. Here is an idea for those who want to SAFELY learn the word force. When learning the classical force, it is suggested you attempt it while having any card selected. If the force doesn't work, you still do a card trick.
Ok if you are shy or have doubts, practice this using a brainwave deck. Use Dee's technique to ask a person to tell you what card is reversed in the deck. You will find you will hit 99% of the time. It will take some practice to learn the proper way and pace to say the words to make this almost surefire. While learning use the brainwave deck, if the person names the wrong card, you still show it reversed. After doing this for a while and you start hitting all the time, you will no longer need the brainwave deck. It makes a nice safety feature to learn the technique. I know I started trying it with the brainwave. The person always named the right card but I knew I had an out. Now I don't use the brainwave. Devin Knight |

Devin,
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm really glad you like the technique! The idea of using a brainwave deck is great and I'm sure it will encourage lots of people to test the force out in safe conditions! All the best, D.

You could try it out as part of an ACAAN too...and mix it in with other psyche forces...
I have a question though - why on earth does having the card in your back pocker (as suggested as fooksau) make it look any cleaner? surely it being fairly left on a table be so much stronger? oh, and yes - I bought mine too... anyway - yeah, why have it in a pocket? when you could have multiple pockets that you'd have to show empty...the other back pocket, two front pockets, then your jacket..it would just kill the buzz....
