Nice work. I like it much better than the earlier version (which I actually thought was pretty good too.)

Its getting better. Music is better... Still don't know if its you or not.

With a silent act you should be able to show your personality and Im not getting that. I like the new table though.

Theres still something missing... Not sure what though...

Just keep working at it and if you really want it you will have it.

Great routine, Jeff. I'm relatively new to magic and your skill is way beyond me. Therefore, I can only provide my 2 cents from a laymen prespective.

During your card production/manipulation using only your right hand, you left hand seems to be very stiff. Since you've rolled up your sleve, it is very noticiable in the video. May be do some minor adjustments to your left hand to make it more nature.

One more note...

Don't put the fan away at the end. Keep it out and use it during your bow.

Anything in your hands will make you look bigger.

I agree,theres somthing missing,

One thing I suggest is don't worry so much about getting the cards in your table,it looks like your focusing on getting it in the table and not the fact that your producing the cards,(i hope that makes sense)

also it seems alittle I would move little faster but not to much.

Thank you Kyle, I also see your point. But another Café member told me I should slow down alittle to let the cards sink in a little before discarding them.

You should, but if you watch someone like McBride he starts slow and then the production get faster and faster, so it ok to start slow but you want the production to build,

Why be like McBride? Why not be your own person and do what feels comfortable to you?

Well the forum members here have seen a LOT of acts so they might prefer the action to build to a faster pace. If your audience is laymen then there's probably nothing wrong with dragging out your act for an extra couple minutes then necessary, as long as you need to fill out your set. The audience won't have a baseline to compare it to so it will all be amazing.

A nice routine, well timed, well choreographed. Most of your body positioning and facial expression is good, but I make one suggestion. Nothing wrong with timing a place or two to get or acknowledge audience response, but in several places I felt you were giving the audience a look that said "see how clever I am. See how I'm fooling you." That may not be your intent, but that is what it said to me. React to what is happening with the cards, not to how you think you are doing with them. If I were a contest judge you would have lost points with those facial expressions. If they weren't there and you were responding more to what was going on with the cards, I would have given you points.

Well the blue fan is actually the original red fan with a dragon on it that you get with most snowstorm sets, I just spray painted it with a glossy blue paint.
Father I see your point and as you know it's hard to judge audience reaction without an audience watching, and I sure that once I present this routine to a audience my facial expressions will change.
Thank you for your input and I'll keep your suggestion in my mind.

Jeff,

Thank you for the hint. I never thought of spray painting mine.

It's true if you have not a special asian themed act it looks better not to have the dragon on it. Until now I just turned the fan so the dragon never came into view.
Now I know what to do.
