Ya know....people suck. I have a flunky on my couch, he showed up for two days to be safe from a storm in 2001 and followed me to another state and being a chump and also knowing he will attack me with lawyers and officials if he doesn't leave on his own steam (okay, he'll attack anyway cuz he is a little girl) and is the most egocentric scumbag who ever lived. It is known I'm looking for work and have wiped out my savings etc and being older and having made too much money before keeps people from hiring me cuz people, as I said, suck. Back to my story. I interviewed for a job that was low paying but I need the work and I have never been motivated by money and this was a job I'd enjoy. I had not heard from them so I called and asked what was up and it turns out, you'll love this, this idiot answered my phone, which he isn't suppose to do, and tells the company that 'I was at another interview for someone else and wouldn't need their job'! So the woman says she was calling to offer me the job and this guy tells her that I don't need it! I was at an interview when she called but that was none of her business or the couch scumbag and I didn't get that job but you don't stop looking until you have a desk in my opinion. So I, in this economy, lost a shot at a freakin' job because of this lil' punk arse mother #($#@$! Oh, the good part is his parents are multi millionaires (three homes in the Hamptons, two the rent out to celebs for 'the season' and homes in Boca and San Francisco) and some day when most of us are trying to survive on a fixed income he'll be living large in Boca without a care in the world! If I could I really would strangle him but I don't feel like going to prison.

It's a good thing you don't own a gun.
Why does he stay with you, instead of sponging off his parents and living in one of their homes? How do your yorkies treat the guy? Anyway, sorry about your troubles, Santa.

What if you accidentally parked your car on him..? There has got to be a way to get him outta there! Or maybe, in the dead of night, you mistake him for a burglar..?
I know it doesn't help at all, but that got me furious as well and would gladly help to drag him out!

Actually, you'll love this, his parents bought him his car, send him cards to pay for gas, and I believe his mother gives him $300 a month to help with 'rent' which he never pays to my wife.
My yorki loves him. He has two yorkies that are, to be honest, the only reason he is still here. Really, if I mention money (hey! he just pulled in from the casino!) he will call the sheriff just to cause problems, try to get my dogs taken away, and his family keeps an attorney on hand and he files suits against anyone who crosses him and I don't need the headache it all causes though the sheriff etc would have no reason to hassle me. You can't believe how ticked I am. He stays with us because he can without paying for anything and gets to hit casinos every night. My wife and I had to pay a major bill and we had zero in our account for about a week, got that? Zip, overdrawn. He didn't offer to buy a carton of milk, he just went out to dinner himself everynight and ignored us and he pays for nothing in his life yet he works at a job I got him! Son of a !@#$%! |

El reado what I said. The result will be I'd have to deal with the sheriff coming out, the pound checking on my dogs, every other govt agency being called for imaginary offenses, calls to every family member trying to cause problems, lawyers making fake charges, when I do get work the employer getting calls, my wife is on social security (she is down about 99% of the time in bed) so they will be called. There you go. He is not a normal person he is clearly disturbed and he victimizes anyone who crosses him. My neighbor crossed him and she just lost hud housing because of a mystery call and she had her kids taken away and hasn't got them back because of 'reports' of her behavior which are basically made up. Guess who the mystery caller is? The reason...he didn't think she should spend the night at her uncles house because she has hud housing, she stays there because she is afraid to be home alone. Nice huh?

You need to have him evicted or framed up or something, man. He's ruining your life.

Maybe we should all pool up and devise a devilish plan to get rid of him for good...
Perhaps an anonymous phone call reports him being somwhere he shouldn't...some shady area at the trunk of someone's car doing business or spending too much time on a playground...Play his game and see how he likes that.

Maybe you could contact the parents, find out if they're passing money on to Junior for rent and let them know you're not getting it!

Your story makes ZERO sense. You got a deadbeat staying on your couch. His name is not on the lease. You are not sub-renting him space. But yet you're afraid to toss him and his crap out on the street??? B.S. There is something wrong with this story!
next time he goes out. Take all his stuff throw it on the curb, change the locks and call the cops to file a restraining order. End of problem. What? he's going to sue you??? For what? if he sues you (which is ridiculous) turn around and counter sue his parents because that's just as stupid! Stop being stupid ya moron! |

If this guy is not related to you, he lives rent-free, has access to your bank accounts, and he treats you like that, then FACE IT - YOU are the weenie here; NOT HIM! He's BRILLIANT!
Suck it up and kick him out on his rear. YOU call the Sheriff. YOU call the local athorities. YOU call his parents. And YOU contact an attorney, because you might need one in some states. Honestly, if all of this stuff really happened but he's still there, and you came to a magic discussion board for advice, then you need to get some backbone!!!
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...

Justin, I believe Santa's right. If the guy has been living there for 8 years, I don't think you can just kick him to the curb. The laws regarding tenants are very odd.

This is fun! This is insane! Santa...WTF!
Give him a bill for 8 years of living expenses and tell him to have his mother pay. Explain that you are one step away from being a street person. Send him shopping for food for the house. Or, what I'd do is leave him the dogs, wife, house and bank account and move.

Consult an attorney and explain the situation(s). You may not need $$$ if you find the right one.

I have been in similar positions, but in my dotage I prefer to make a decision, stick to it and wear whatever the consequences are.
I just cannot be around people I don't like - it drives me to the point of insanity. Get rid of what evidence you can of any wrongdoing on your part he can use against you and get rid of him. The tenancy laws are irrelevant - he's not a tenant - a tenant pays rent. My only other two suggestions are that you tell the most violent local homophobe you can find that your tenant is hot for him - or poison. Destiny |

That's IF I believed you. I don't though. Sorry. If it's true...go on Jerry Springer with the rest of the sad sacks.
