Has anyone used one of these things or built one? Are there plans for this? I know how it works and would like to have my own versision built. I am working with one of Brett Daniels old stage hands. Please give me input.

If you would like to perform this, keep in mind that royalties are involved & that you will have to have it fabricated by a top-notch builder. It is an exclusive illusion that belongs to Mr. Daniels & you must take the proper steps to perform it. Owens Magic & Johnny Gaughan have both built versions of this illusion. I would advise calling one of them to discuss your needs.

I did't think there would be royalties since douglas tillford and silvertree productions build versions. I thought because of that it is not "owned" by specific performers. There are more people who do it to. Tell me more about this, I didn't know

Yes, there are royalties involved. Most of the things Doug Tilford builds are not only poorly fabricated, but also done so without proper permission. This is the case with his "version" of Mr. Daniels' levitation. One major way you can tell is the price. It is way less than half of what Johnny Gaughan would charge to build it.
I'm not sure about the version that Silvertree Productions builds, but if you know more about it, PM me and I could be happy to answer any questions you have about it. |

For clarification, Silvertree Productions did not build the Goddess Levitation they own. It was built by Owen Magic Supreme and royalties to the designer have been paid.

For further clarification. Tilford Illusions did NOT build the above illusion. It was built by GEORGE RICHBARK and Company (formally of Douglas Wayne Illusioneering). George got permission, paid royalities and built it for one of his customers years ago for a show that never got off the road. The model he built DOES NOT have the 360 feature built into it.
George was stuck with it and worked a deal with Tilford to take if off his hands. The one on Tilford's site is a one of a kind model and currently sits in the Richbark Studios. They have been trying to sell this darn thing for over 3 years. They are willing to sell it as a whole or with the zombie gimmick part removed. To repeat Tilford Illusions do not make this illusion, the one on the site is a one of kind authorized version built by George Richbark of the now defunt Douglas Wayne. |

I personally do not like the "zombie" asrah. I owned one for a while, and it is hard to pull off to make it look real, and good. The standard asrah with stage rigging is the way to go in my opinion.
Believe In Magic....I do!
