For those who don't want to wear their PK ring all the time, try attaching it to your keyring. Mine nests neatly inside the metal key ring, so it's with me whenever my keys are. (Which is always.) If someone requests a trick, it's easy enough to reach into your pocket, unstick the PK ring from the rest of your keys and slip it onto your finger.
The only problem I've ever had with this arrangement was the time the ring got stuck to my office's metal door when I was unlocking it. I didn't notice where it went until hours later. In the meantime, I'd spent a great deal of time looking everywhere for the ring. (Even calling my son's daycare center and asking if anyone had turned in a gold wedding band.) |

I always find myself in situations thinking, "Shoot, I wish I had my PK ring on me."
Thanks for the awesome tip. I'll be trying this one! |

Great idea - I hate wearing the ring (makes me warm all over for some reason).

That's a great idea!!! I like to have my PK ring with me for impromptu stuff, but I worry about damage caused by wearing it full time. This is a great option.
Thanks |

Does anyone know if the ring can affect car key remotes? I don't want to arrive at a gig only to find I can't get home.
(I'm a beginner to PK rings, so shoot me if this an obvious question?!) |

The ring should not effect your remote, as your remote sends a signal to a receiver in your vehicle, but I wouldn't get it too close to anything with a magnetic strip; i.e. credit cards or access cards.

With jeans... just use the 5th pocket. Perfect size for the PK ring.

Wizard
Also, does anyone else find that even Wizard PK rings break way too easily? |

I have had others tell me their Wizard PK ring broke on them as well. One guy told me he called them directly and they did not offer to replace it but offered to sell them another one at a discount.

I have had my Wizard PK G2 ring for about 2 1/2 years now...no problems with breakage here. Although I must admit, The strenght of the ring is so strong that I worry that coins slamming into it will one day be its demise. I just try to be very careful with it.

I find that mine always breaks, I'm lucky if it last me over 2 month .i always buy 2 at a time. just in case.
my jewler says that it breaks because welding to a magnet doesn't stick. |

I can't recommend the Any Ring PK Gimmick enough. http://www.morfinmagic.com/Store.htm
Very inexpensive, super versatile, and solves any breakage issues. Jason, What kind of ring do you have that has a magnet welded to it? That's certainly not the norm. |

The PK ring is a " earth magnet "
http://www.penguinmagic.com/product.php?ID=1266 ---------------------------------------------- The ring is a magnet bent into shape of a ring. The two ends can not be stuck together. So the only thing keeping it together is the chrome/gold like dip, even that doesn't stick well. It peals and cracks. But still worth every penny. ------------------------------------------------ What is the Any Ring PK Gimmick ???? I never heard of it. I don't think we have it here in Montreal. |
