Does anyone here read web comics? These are the ones I’m currently following.

Sabrina online
Usually three or four strips a month, all month’s strips are posted on the first of the month

http://www.sabrina-online.com/1996-01.html

Sabrina, an animorphic skunk, lives with her squirrel friend Amy and Amy’s wolf boyfriend Tomas (Yes, “Thomas Wolf”). After losing her first web-design job when her boss buys a box of clip art, Sabrina, a slightly repressed “Mary Tyler Moore” type finds herself working as the web site designer for a porno studio run by the infamous porn-star Zig Zag! (Mature situations, no actual adult content.)

Suburban Jungle
Updated infrequently

Another animorphic world. Although Zig-Zag makes a cameo and Sabrina is mentioned, this is a slightly different take. While the animals wear clothes and pursue employment goals, they are also likely to behave in a feral fashion and go hunting! Tiffany Tiger is trying to find love and success as a model/actress. All her successes in the latter field irk her nemesis Leona, a lioness who believes that Tiffany’s successes are coming at a direct cost to her own. Her love life is complicated by the fact that she’s trying to date herbivores (really, the lion bartender at her favorite place didn’t MEAN to eat her date!)

Nevernever
No longer being updated

By the same author of Suburban Jungle, this strip concerned the fairies who try to take the Earth back from the humans who have defiled it. Unfortunately, they have to go up against the handicap that the humans just don’t believe in them. Add a pooka, a human who has been chosen by Excalibur to be the “Pendragon,” shifty gnomes, clueless soothsayers and even a jackalope! (Sadly, this strip runs out of steam after awhile and just stops. But it’s a pretty fun run!)

Girl Genius
Updated Mon. Weds and Fri. No, I don’t know how Phil manages it!

Neo-Victorian world run by mad scientists called “Sparks.” Agatha Clay may just turn out to be the greatest of them all! Mad scientists, death rays, clanking robots and maybe true love! Oh, and coffee to die for!

The Breakfast of the Gods
Updated infrequently

Gonzo concept to the max! A happy kingdom being attacked by a vampire. He’s held in the mountains to the north where it is now always night! The battle has sent the kingdom’s king into a hidden sleep! A powerful warrior and salty sea captain try to rally the people of the kingdom to fight the vampire, his thuggish minion and the magic user they’ve brought over to their side.

The Gonzo part? All the characters are trademarked cereal characters! Despite this, the entire story is played up seriously, characters fight, are wounded and some actually die! In the final battle, they’re joined by a group of “snack characters” from an ajoining kingdom!

I've been known to read Girl Genius from time to time.

It really doesn't get interesting until here though

A few of my favorites:

PvP – This strip follows the lives of the staff of a fictional video game magazine, PLAYER VS. PLAYER. This one goes all the way back to 1998, so the array of characters and storylines is deep!

xkcd – You're either geeky enough to get the jokes, or you aren't.

Being Five – The life and times of a five-year-old blogger.

I really like Bob the Angery Flower. angryflower.com Some of strips fall very flat but the ones that are funny are hilarious.

Y'know, I completely missed your icon reference in the time I've been reading here and reading GG. I am sometimes so nonvisual it's sad!

The first, and still the best, is Userfriendly. It is about a bunch of geeks and other weirdos that work for a small Canadian ISP.

I missed one. This is a "funny animal" strip but not an "animorphic" one.

If you remember "The Fox and The Hound," the last half of that film dealt with a male fox, raised in captivity, having to adjust to living in the wild and meeting a wild female fox.

Well, this is kind of the reverse. A wild female fox wanders onto a farm where animals are raised for television commercials and modeling jobs. She meets a fox who's been raised there for his entire life. Now, to stay with him, she'll have to learn to curtail her predatory habits especially around the rabbits and mice in the barn! (Then her evil sister shows up!)
