I discussed with Mark about making a sample for a re-run of them but have not gotten in touch with him since about March. I'll email him again and see.

I own one of these from a zillion years ago and it is fantastic.
I personally think that this is the simplest hassle free method there is. There are a lot of clever, high tech p**k wallets out there that work sometimes and then when you need them they suddenly fail on you. Not the case with SUC, the p**k is garanteed, the wallet looks normal, nothing to hide really, it can be freely displayed on all sides. When you need a p**k, it's done...and that's that. Low tech and proud of it! Highest recommendations for this. |

Any word on this?
It's hard for me to understand why such an excellent item isn't in production.

If you can't find a used SUC around the Café, try for a Stealth Assassin Wallet, which incorporates the SUC function. Cheers, Jerry |

The Stealth Assassin is indeed marvelous for the SUC p**k, as well as offering several other useful functions. The JOL Plus and No-Palm (but not the EZ, I think) wallets can also function as a large SUC, if that size wallet appeals. I found it hard to load my JOL Plus for SUC-style operation (it's really made for cards going in the other direction) until I applied a little glue to the interior. It's passable as a SUC, but of course the Assassin was designed for this.
I'm considering a Chimera Wallet, which is a (very nice, apparently) writing/impression pad cover with a SUC-style feature built-in.

Sorry if this is a stupid question but what exactly is the SUC facility? Im well aware it is a p**k (lol at the pathetic use of asterisk).
I owned the Stealth assassin wallet for a while and am aware of 2 main p**ks within. But not sure which one SUC refers to, or what the abbreviation stands for. Another abbreviation that has been pickling me is AAN. But that's probably more relevent somewhere else. If anybody can help me out id be very greatful. |

This forum, for the most part, is viewable by the general public. The use of asterisks helps everyone do their part in keeping the secrets of the art, well, secret. But, back to the question: I think if you try searching the mentalism threads on this forum, you might come up with even more help as devices like these are used heavily in many aspects of mentalism. I hope this information is useful to you. |

Haha I'm well aware of why asterisk are used in this form. Its that particular word that I found hilarious. Not only have I seen that word in full view countless times within the magic Café, but also it doesn't exactly take a genius to work it out. Im sorry its just my sense of humour. Thank you for taking the rime to reply though. I shall continue the hunt for answers. Please don't mistake my sense of humour as arrogance

Hey Dazz, the P**K aspect is for the F**th of the U***r where one uses the T**RO part of the Y***W. Or one could simply ****WE with a RE**TH to incorporate the g**t utility move. Either way, the performer can *** once or twice depending on the **** of the situation. I love my SUC wa**et!!

I had a beautiful cognac-colored wallet which I lost. I've since purchased a nice black one. The wallet is slender and easy to use. I've also got a Stealth Assasin Wallet which uses the same principle for the peek; however, the SAW has other functions built into the wallet. Best, MJ |

Thank you for your reply. Much less cryptic than that other reply I had lol. Although it was fun trying to work out if they were real words or not.

I have owned the Sight Unseen Case (SUC) for over 10 years now, and I carry it every day as my normal business card case.
However, I'm looking into three more recent p*** wallets, the Telethought 2 Wallet (Kentworthy), the Complete **** Wallet (Miller), and the Lookout Wallet (Carnazzo). These have all gotten rave reviews here on the magic Café. I would love to hear from folks who have two or more of these, as well as people who have the SUC and one of these newer ones. Why would I be looking for something like this if I already use the SUC? Well, the SUC is great, but like everything else, it has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantages are that it is sure-fire, low tech, unsuspicious (no one has ever suspected it in 10 years), and you get an absolutely clear view - no worry about lighting. However, there are two disadvantages. The first is that because you get such a clear and bold view, you have to watch your angles. Another disadvantage is that you have to direct the spectator to write on only 1/2 the business card because you only get a view of about half. This seems to limit the SUC to numbers and words. I would not try design duplication with it. Keep in mind, I'm not dissatisfied with the SUC. It's a super tool that I anticipate using until I drop (it is well made and will outlast me). But I'd be interested in exploring other alternatives. |
