Due to impressive input from a number of people, I created a PowerPoint Show and independent Kup & Stone GUIDE as part of a complete package for future purchasers of FoldCup, still priced at only $5.55 on eversway.com
I am now planning to provide PowerPoint enhanced descripions of Moves and Sleights will several other Cup & Ball related eBooks. What started out as accomodations for the Viually Impaired may become a standard. I just can't see those little YouTube things. this is available to previous purchasers, of course

I don't have Power Point on my computer, so if you go ahead with power point will it work on my computer?
Thanks |

I purchased "FoldCup," and I have to say I am impressed with the out-of-the-box thinking behind it. I feel as though I have stumbled on an item that was somehow omitted from "Art of Astonishment." Quite honestly, it is this sort of thing that can jump-start your creativity.
The more I look at this, the more fun, potential, and opportunities for variation I see. A tip of the paper hat to Funsway for making FoldCup available! Recommended... |

I just ordered this as well. I was intrigued with the impromptu "choppiness" of this cup. I believe I stumbled onto the method, or at least I hope it is it. I can't wait to receive this to see if I am right. Once this idea popped into my head I just had to get the ebook to see what other ideas you have for this.

I just received my pdf and I was wrong on the method. The real version is much better!

In fairness, I did not "conceive" of this method nor even expect its existence. After several conversations with Bill Palmer on "the simplest cup" I decided to make one out of paper. I started with the way we used to make paper hats pack in first grade, experimenting with a ways to get it to stand up like a tent and hold together with tape or glue. The object was just to get a container suitable for any C&B type effect make "on the fly" and using paper balls. "Impromptu" has always meant "with found objects" for me.
The unique feature of this Cup design that allows it to be a ChopCup was a pleasant surprise. The fact that this feature becomes invisible in display as a revelation. The suggested effects evolved quickly from experimentation and the help of several magicians on the Café' who left into the fray. Many suggest using crumpled bills instead of sheet paper balls, and several like to produce real balls as a finale' and seque into actual C&B. The enthusiasm over alternative approaches to Chop type effects led to the ebooks "ChopSign" and "ScoutAround," with "CampOut" and "CoLapse" still in beta test -- but "FoldCup" remains unique in its simplicity and method -- both a gift from a love of magic. Sadly. many magicians feel the time required to construct the FoldCup to be a limitation for table work. Too bad since the impact of having the final sequence occur in the spectator's hand is well worth the wait.
