Here is our version of the Rabbit in Hat puppet Smile

The rabbit can go in and out of the hat...and unlike the traditional version, this has a moving mouth for vents.

Non vents can use this using the whisper method Smile

It's also larger than the traditional type...

Do the hands attach to the rim of the hat?

I would be tempted to just add a couple of velcro dots so the hands stay in place.

Hi Neale...no they are not attached to the hat. Smile

I prefer it without a velcro because when you animate the head...the hands move and it makes a nicer illusion. Smile

Great looking puppet! Does your arm go through the back of the hat or through the bottom of the hat?

That rabbit of yours might make a nice stand-alone puppet as well.

Just a thought,

I second what Tod said. I work for very young children, and have to be careful about the puppets I choose for the shows. What might seem cuddly and adorable to older children (7-9) can be downright terrifying to younger children (3-6). Wanlu's rabbit is VERY fuzzy and cuddly looking, with "friendly" eyes that don't glare, but rather have a soft, "let's go play!" look to them. It could indeed make a great stand alone puppet.

My characters right now are all very outgoing and I am thinking of adding a quieter or shy charcter. I had been thinking a Pavlov sheep but the rabbit in the hat could be cute too.

How much is he with shipping to Canada?

I'm having trouble viewing the link. It will not open and hangs up the page. Has anyone else had this happen? I'm wondering if it is my computer or not?
