Check with Duane Laflin at laflinmagic.com. He does this in his stage show - he can tell you where to purchase it.

It is the Martinka Chair. Made popular by Peter Pit in the USA... you might to to http://www.jorgeblass.com and ask where he got his. I think Owen Magic in USA makes one.

Pete's on it. It was originaly a chair "splitting" effect where one chair was on stage and the magician had two spectator's from the audience so he grabed hechair and "split" it into two.

Peter Pit took the prop, added the box with the "chair" design on the front and created the topsy turvey effect you saw. Before you purchase it from anyone, check to see how they aquired the rights from Peter to do or make the illusion.

Well, actually the Topsy Turvy Chair came from Dutch Magician, FLIP... who suggested the routine to Peter Pit. Geno Munari bought the chair set and routine from Peter Pit. But the prop, the Martinka Multiplying Chairs, are public domain. Joe Porper has permission from FLIP to make and sell a MINI version, the chair is about 12 inches tall.

This model looks like Arsene Lupin`s that you can buy from him or from Zauberzentrale in München.

Owenmagicsupreme.com has it listed as Multiplying Chairs, under their comedy magic catagory. No prices listed, just that it's available.
Do not go where the path may lead, but go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.

Owen never lists their prices. Don't want to scare everyone away.

This is not accurate and Pete you know that. Tommy Wonder also disagreed with this.

But in your world of lala anything is ok.

There is an very long extended thread on this 'creation controversy' on another forum (that publishes a magazine called G***i,) I've read the whole thing and Pete is entirely justified in his opinion and those who disagree are certainly welcome to do so.

Where is the world of lala? What do you disagree with?
I can only tell you exactly what I was told, directly, from FLIP. And I believe him.

But you missed the point. If you believe Flip then why didn't Flip disagree with Peter in the sense Flip remained silent until after Peter's death. Then you come across as a spokesperson for Porper to basically say, "Joe, you have rights to the chairs".

What you don't know is that Porper, long before he marketed the chairs was indicating, yes more than that, said that these should belong to you (meaning Geno). Even though the chairs are a standard item, doesn't give anyone the rights to use Peter's routine.

And you did he same thing with the useless piece of DNA, remember.

One question for you: If Peter were here today would he agree with you?
