Has anyone ever purchased anything from here? The prices seem pretty good, and he has some things I am interested in.

Any positive experiences?

I buy most of my balloon stuff locally, but I have made a purchase or two in the past from Dale at MBD2.com. It was a positive experience. Dale is well respected in the balloon industry. You should not have any problems.

I would use http://www.balloonmerchant.com as there prices are ALOT CHEAPER an the company has been around awhile.. (1965)

I wait for my items to reach $100 bucks worth than I order from them and they give an extra 5 percent off the ENTIRE bill! Also keep in mind since you spend on the internet there are no taxes!

I don't own this company but I have searched a long time for the best prices and quality and http://www.balloonmerchant.com is by far the best prices.

I am looking at an apron which I don't see at balloon merchant.

For balloons, I use Larocks. I get them next day.

I would echo what Steve said about MBD2. Dale is a nice guy, provides good service and uses the products he sells.

I don't deny they have good service dale sounds good but balloon merchant beats larocks and MBD2 and everyone else prices... When you buy a lot of balloons and can cut your cost by 20 percent and still get the same great service balloonmrechant makes a lot of sense.

It's not always about the cheapest price, what else do they offer?
Tuiton to help you grow as a person and entertainer, as when you grow so will your income.
If it's all about the bottom line price then what a sad world it would be IMHO

It's been a long time since I've bought anything from mbd2. They messed up an order and it took AGES to sort it out. I was obviously dealing with an "assitant" who couldn't be bothered (I've no doubt she has probably moved on since then) but when I tried to email Dale directly he didn't reply either.

This was a long time ago - but one bad experiece can put you off for life...

True,

I think though if service is the same and the balloon quality is the same I then would go with the cheaper price and that's why I shop at http://www.balloonmerchant.com

Though it may be common knowledge, http://www.TMyers.com should definitely be mentioned. Great selection, great prices especially if you spend $300. I've ordered from them many times including since they changed ownership and have had no problems. I had never heard of balloonmerchant until this thread and their prices are great. Tmyers has a larger selection (I didn't see Standard Purple 260s or Spiderman heads at a quick glance) and if you spend $300 the prices are nearly the same as balloon merchant (.17 less on 350s, .20 more on 260s). http://www.madhattermagicshop.com also has good prices on balloons and they deliver quick.

Got my balloons from balloonmerchant.com. Definitely not bad. All the bags were very fresh. My tropical teals had a creation date in 2008, but otherwise they were all fresh off the line. I will buy from these guys again. Shipping takes longer for me due to it being coast to coast, but definitely a good company. Anyone in and around GA, if you need next day balloons use Madhatter Magic Shop or a 3 day turnaround, TMyers.
