'ello 'ello everyone.
I'm starting now to promote the Inner Circle of Bizarre Magick's 18th annual "Gathering of the Magi" It's going on from November 12th-14th at the Crowne Plaza in Southbury, CT. This year we're honoring long-time awesome person Bruce Barnett. Guests lecturers this year will include Bob Fitch and Losander (with a new lecture). The events include lectures, a close-up show, a works-in-progress session, a full dinner & evening stage show, and all kind of other madness as well from many of the Inner Circle members and beyond. I have been going to this Gathering since I was 12 and I've always felt inspired and recharged every year. If you've been putting it off for whatever reason, this is the year to come down to the ICBM Gathering. If you've never been... then THIS is the year to go! All the information (including registration) can be found at http://www.icbmmagick.com . I really hope we can make this year a great one. |

Daniel-
12, Thank you very much for making me feel old, no ancient!! I would not miss the Gathering, as per usual. Rumor has it that Dr. Mombo will once again be trying to enter the U.S. :stout: An event not to be missed, for all who dare.

Hey Daniel-
Have there been any additions to the line-up of the 18th Annual Gathering of the Magi ?? ( The longest continually running Bizarre Convention) :stout:

Why funny you should ask!
Robert Neale is going to be presenting a new lecture at the Gathering this year. And since it's Bob, you know it's going to be good. I'll try to keep the Café updated as we get closer to the event. |

A new lecture and a new Expanded edition of "Magic and Meaning". Sounds Great !!!!!!
We are very fortunate that Bob Neale is close by and attending this year. :stout:

My first trip to the ICBM gathering was tentative. Frankly, I was afraid it would be "too weird." I only signed up for one day. I had such a good time, learned so much from some very helpful and knowledgeable magicians, that I have going back for the full convention ever after. There is a real devotion to magic as an art form, as an important force in society. There is also a real sense of working together and sharing. I highly recommend the Inner Circle of Bizarre Magick for magicians of all levels of interest.

Bob Fitch is incredible. It's worth going just to see Bob. The man just gives out gems that can help transform your magic from the mundane to the extraordinary.
Losander does more than float things as well. I caught his lecture at the Gathering a few years ago. Then you have all the schmoozing after events in the hospitality suite. And the hospitality suite closes when the last person leaves. There is also the incredible evening show on Saturday night that has more original magic that you'll ever see.

Hello! Hello! Hello!
Here I am in beautiful downtown Southbury Ct. for the ICBM Gathering and I am all alone! Where is everyone? There is still time to come and enjoy the company of Losander, Bob Fitch, Robert E.Neale, Dr. Mambo, Evil Dan and the glorious Colleen, et al (the first three named are lecturing - as is Bruce Barnett, this year's honouree). So 'Hurry On Down' (as Nellie Lutcher once said - anyone under the age of sixty won't know who Nellie Lutcher was, and I'm not going to tell you!) there is still time to enjoy the very best Bizarre Gathering ever! I particularly expect to see YOU! (you know who you are!). Leslie
