Hi Jeff and thank you for your contribution to the magic community.

As you know with the evolution of internet magic has changed a lot.

A few years ago I was performing effects that layman wouldnt know about.

Now while you are performing for example "ash pen" metal bending, coin bend, any effect withy loops (loops was my close guarded secret for years!) or any other strong effect people may shout ellusionist, or youtube, or anything...

can you please recommend me any ideas of getting some really strong underground magic... or by your experience if you can tell some effects that are also strong but not been commercial on the internet.

The kind of effects I love and I do is metal bending, mentalism, stigmata, mind reading, pk time, pk touches.
I also love cap in bottle(i know almost all the versions), exterme burn, and I also like to mix them with some stunts.

thank you very for your help!

Greetings Killer Magic, and all...

You want me to recommend some good effects to you. I will help you even more than that, and recommend to you a website that will help you find the very best cutting edge effects for you to explore:
http://www.mylovelyassistant.com

I will also help you by pointing you towards what I feel is an even more effective way to learn magic, than just "buying tricks." I feel, that if you want to succeed in the art of magic, it is good to get a solid foundation in the area of effect construction. By learning how to learn magic, you will have the tools to invent your own magic that NO ONE ELSE can do, or even buy.... Now, that is the essence of the underground. Magic that is created in dark hidden places, from deep within the artistic mind of the magical inventor.

Here are a few ideas to find fresh magical material that is not available on the internet.

BOOKS
Read old magic magazines and books to find new ideas. One of the challenges of today's magic world is that there is an explosion of DVDs and "hot new tricks." This can lead to distraction and can scatter energy that could be put towards refining just a few fine effects to add to our repetoire.

BOOKS
Books are made from paper. Paper is made from trees. Trees start underground, as seeds. They grow in the darkness, and they sprout towards the light. This is a great metaphor for magic. Right now we live in a fast food world. Everybody wants the inside top secret, underground, new thing. And, they have to have it NOW. Download. Download now. Facebook me. Twitter me. More and more of less and less. It's kind of like being addicted to magic fast food.

BOOKS
I love to read, and to discover old effects and reinvent them using new materials. Many old magic effects can be given a new look and feel if you apply a bit of your imagination to the situation.

Start here:
The Trick Brain, by Dariel Fitzke
Designing Miracles, by Darwin Ortiz
The Tarbell Course in Magic (filled with great ideas and scripts that can be updated with a little work)

I hope this helps point you within to where you will realize your own magical creativity.

Your friend in the WONDERGROUND,

Jeff

P.S. You may want to check out this very new magic effect. I think this is the kind of thing you are looking for:
Alan Wong’s LoverBands: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dk4Orgp-jl8

Jordan is our media expert here at the Magic and Mystery School and I hope you enjoy his work.

Alan Wong is a great inventor and has many effects that you may want to look into for your show.
I hope he puts all of his ideas in a book one day...that way the stuff will stay underground!
Yours in the wonders of the underground,
Jeff
