Well, details are still sketchy and partially unconfirmed but ...
BANGKOK—Actor David Carradine, star of the 1970s TV series "Kung Fu" who also had a wide-ranging career in the movies, has been found dead in the Thai capital, Bangkok. A spokesman for the U.S. Embassy, Michael Turner, confirmed the death of the 72-year-old actor. He says Carradine died either late Wednesday or early Thursday, but he could not provide further details out of consideration for his family. The Web site of the newspaper The Nation cited unidentified police sources as saying Carradine was found Thursday hanged in his luxury hotel room and is believed to have committed suicide. Carradine was a leading member of a venerable Hollywood acting family that included his father, character actor John Carradine, and brother Keith.

Very odd why would he go to the other side of the world to make a movie, then kill himself sounds suspicious. I loved the T.V. Show kung Fu..farewell, David

Holy crap. Just had a conversation with him last year.
That suicide trip sucks. Adds so many dark wrinkles to the moment. RIP, no more crossword puzzles.. I had aquaintance with his dad too. Very intense and vital family.

Heard this morning that reports of suicide are incorrect, and that it was natural causes.
My ex-cat was named "Muffin". "Vomit" would be a better name for her. AKA "The Evil Ball of Fur".

Is sad news and yes it's still being reported as a suicide too bad he chose that route. Just never know what's in people's minds.

He hung himself. Eerie thing is that he was reportedly very "chipper" that day. Bizarre (then again, Carradine WAS very bizarre).
He will be missed.

Every time I saw a Carradine interview he was happy. I hate to sound like a conspiracy guy, but I don't buy the suicide angle.

I'm not buyin' it either at this point. Especially in Thailand where martial arts is more religion than entertainment and Bruce lee was a god. There were issues if I remember correctly.

Either way it's a shame.
I enjoyed watching him in Kung Fu, and My Son and I thought he did a great job hosting The Wild west Tech show on the History channel. Bob. |

It wasn't suicide, it was the five point palm exploding heart technique.

From some of the reports it's begining to sound like death through mis-adventure. Possibly meeting his end the same way the famed underground comic artist Vaughn Bode did in 1975.
Either way it is sad news and he will be missed
