The more I study the "Code Book", the more I've the impression that CIA and MI-5/MI-6, deliberately provoke their KGB adversaries.
They needed a duel beteween the 2 agents. I also find a small but lethal quantity of aconitum napellua (wolfbane) among the objects from the British agent. Critter, I'll mp you the reference of the code book. If you can get one, you'll find everything inside... No kidding. |

Dear Curator,
Thank you for showing me the code book: I had no idea they went this far! It is for sure the best way to transmit a message to your nemesis, TO-TAL-LY undetectable if you don't have the key. T&A!

The Surnateum and the RCAP have joined forces to unravel a very strange case. The Curator and myself have decided to share our findings with you all, but, once again, this won't lead you to websites where you can buy a trick or two (or three, or whatever takes your fancy). And yes, what we do is at times dangerous... These delvings do have a price, maybe one that's a tad too high, but this is the road we've decided to walk. This is where the buying stops and the life begins.

I translate the message in the code "magazine". It's not very polite (so I won't shock readers here) and is directed toward KGB. If you want to understand it you have to start with the central code page, then go first to p.124, then p.137 and then p.209.
The code book is illustrated here: http://www.moviemags.com/big/Playboy197512_Cover.jpg According to the fact that those magazines were immediately confiscated when found in USSR, the article about code breakers is a direct message to the KGB. The contact sign between Jerry and his Russian helper in the hotel was to carry an issue from the magazine (issued 1 week before his official appearance on the market). I also identify 2 curious (but logical) items among the various objects received... |

Dear Professor Van Helmont, I made some research in the Surnateum archives for the 1970's era and discovered that the Collector created a serie of Protocols to test the intensity of werewolf senses (for MI-5 and MI-6) at the time.
Sense of Smell, Vision, audition, skin resistance, allergy, pack communication and alpha male positionning. The test are quite different from the X-men and Dhampire protocols but highly effectives. The problem when you absorb the serum is that you'll have the impression that your senses increase during a brief moment and then go back to normal. It's an illusion, a bit like when you enter a tunnel driving a car. You're blind during a second, then your senses adapt to the new situation, and you can see again. It's exactly what happens with the serum. One sense overtake the others first, but you can use other senses without even being aware of it. |

Curator, is there also a connection as to the term 'wolf- packs' being used in reference to groups of U boats?
I wrote a routine based on this premise. Kotah |

The original term in German was "Rudel" coined by admiral Dönitz. In English it should be translated by pack, but the usual translation is wolf-pack even if it's not absolutely correct (It should have been wolfrudel).
The wolfpack attack is a massive submarine attack against ship convoys. U-boats were sometimes considered as sea wolves, if my memory's good. Adolf Hitler's first name is linked to the wolf (ad-wolf) and his Wolfsschanze in Rastenburg means wolf's lair. I also think that Hitler's youngest sister's name was Paula Wolf(f) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paula_Hitler |

I always wondered if Ian Fleming constructed James Bond entirely from Playboy cliche's. Hidden codes in such a magazine would suddenly make a lot of sense

Ian Fleming's first article in Playboy was published in the March 1960 issue.
We discover now the secret relation between Hugh Hefner and the CIA. Plus, the Playboy magazine is also a nice scientific instrument to discover the alpha male in a werewolfpack; the alpha male being to only one who mates with the alpha female. The December 1975 issue has everything we need to confirm our supposition: an article about code breakers with easy to use code sheet for beginner KGB codebreakers (obviously an insult), references to the CIA, an image of a werewolf within the article; pictures of alpha males and females (before the full moon transformation - all the females have taken their clothes off in preparation of the transformation, the centerfold seems to be the alpha female), and something more. I have to mention that the Surnateum Library owns an original copy of Marilyn Monroe's 1955 calendar for further studies. |

One more idea.
I had to figure out another scientific test for the alpha male. At that moment of the various tests, both the spectator and me have taken the serum. I place 10 A4 enveloppes on the table and ask the spectator to give me one, he can keep the 9 others. His enveloppes contain 9 different magazines like "Homes and Gardens magazine", "Car magazine", "scientific american" and others... My enveloppe contains the February 2004 issue of Playboy (the famous scientific magazine) with miss February Aliya Wolf (Lone Wolf) as centerfold. She's laying on a wolf skin... I like those scientific experiences (anatomy is a science, no ?) http://www.zaldiva.com/images/MAGAZINES/......2004.jpg http://lh3.ggpht.com/sharmasourabh.mail1......umb3.jpg |

That is funny.
Actually, I think psychology is pretty faulty, but neuropsychology, now that is interesting!

That's OK; you see, even neuropsychology is very much a topic in my research or, more correctly, BN Birman's research on modifying the wolves!
