Hey Guys, I Have a card to wallet that I just LOVE because the technique is so different but I am not sure the name of it. Basically you can show a card sitting in the wallet BEFORE you even bring out your deck. I don't call attention to it but it's there. All I can say is it uses a retracting mechanism and that the wallet is leather, but I think they also make a plastic-y version. Anybody know what this is called or also has it and cares to comment on how much the like/ hate it? Thanks.

YES! that's it I believe. This C2W is so under-rated in my opinion. I know the gimmick is fragile but it allows for so much freedom when people can actually see the card in the wallet. Anybody want to weigh in?

I was thinking about getting a card to wallet. Too many to chose from, I did look at the pimpernell $$$$$. What can you tell me about the Mirage Wallet?

This C2W, if you get the leather version is absolutely amazing. You take out your wallet with a card showing clipped to one of the credit card slots and leave it open on the table. Yo don't touch it until you are ready to reveal, and when you do, you just pick up the wallet and cleanly and fairly slide the card out that has been in full view the whole time. I have fooled So many magicians who have multiple card to wallets because this effect looks to good to be true. It takes a couple hours of practice but when you get it down, the move looks gorgeous, it literally looks like you take the wallet with the card that has been sitting in it since the start of the trick, slide it out and turn it over. it is expensive at 70 dollars, but its soft leather and can function as your everyday wallet. I haven't found demo video's for this, but it is definetly worth it. I see it as using a principle from the Mullica wallet but then going so far above and beyond. I use this wallet and a Mullica for different routines but if someone is grilling you hard whip this wallet out, show them the jutting card and say "that is important", close the wallet and hand it to them before you start the trick. After they sign and return card get them to open the wallet and hand it to you, the card being in view the entire time. I'm rambling, but please ask people and check one out, I use this all the time in my routine because its so darn clean and brilliant. only downside is a small 2.5 second reset every time, but I only say this because I HATE resetting, even if its only transferring a coin from my right pocket to left. Hope this helps!

You might check youtube or magic video depot for a demo video of somebody doing it, but they might be bad at it.

I've said it a few times, I have the pimpernel and really like it. I'm looking for a palming version too just for some variety, but am a huge fan of the pimpernel. it works really well and is SUPER easy.

Where did you guys buy yours? Online? I live in Portland, OR and there is no longer a shop here. I have been looking online but they are pretty spendy, any tips?
