I got this manuscript Yesterday, and I must say I really like it. Jeff really has taken pre-show work on the Internet to the next level.
This manuscript really is what "The Game" should have been. When I read "The Game" I felt Internet Pre-show work was not practical at all. With Jeff's work I can't wait to use it in a real situation. Especially because I now can see what a big thing this will be in the future. If you are not in on this, you are already behind. Thomas PS. The "Utterly Anything Idea" is so clever and covert! |

Thanks Thomas! The "Utterly Anything" idea is by far by biggest "pet." I use it in all sorts of situations. It can apply to SO much more than just pre-show reveals, but it works wonderfully for those as well. It's the perfect ruse for whenever anyone is seeming to question the process of your effects. In fact, I use it before they have a chance to question it.
Why should they select a word out of a book when they can just think of one instead? Well, if you demonstrate how hard it is to pluck a random word out of the air (and read their mind-process as they do so), it completely validates the process without having to give reasoning directly. Out of everything in the manuscript, Thought Bombs and Utterly Anything are the two items I am most proud of. I hope you have a lot of fun with it. I know I do!
