Water Trap DOES require additional items to prepare the matchbook. Plus you need an extra gimmick to perform the effect.
For Dunn's Deal, you can color cull through the cards in under 30 seconds. For patter, you can talk about how the decisions we make come together with the things out of our control to give a balanced outcome. That explains why they deal through the cards and then mess them back up again. Truly Screwed requires you to ditch two cards. Bro teaches a dead easy way to get rid of them. I don't know what your complaints are about. Bro teaches the presentation where the deck is warped and bowed and so you attempt to fix it, you go too far by accident, but then you fix your mistake and also the warped condition. There is purpose and there is no haha in your face. I've never once had people ask to handle the deck. You just move through it. It isn't a trick, it's a mistake that happens while trying to fix your deck. You just go through it. Why would you stop to let someone check out the deck while you're trying to solve a problem with it. I never mention anything while performing Muscle Bend. I just take a coin, tell them I can use my arm or his to do this. Whichever they name, I always use theirs because I found it way more effective. I place it in their elbow crotch and have them flex and bend their arm and then unbend it. Then the coin is seen bent. That's it. You don't want to ruin the climax by talking about strength and such things. |

Hey Michael,
Just wanted to let you know Ive been following your reviews. They're easily the most even-handed evaluations of TA I've seen on this forum imho simply because you get down into the reasons why you rate it the way you do and get specific about performance constraints and effect construction. Thanks. |
