Michael Ammar's Classic Renditions series is nice, with a DVD dedicated to CMH, but also has a few other routines on it. This series has a very nice practice approach and the teaching details are very good, IMO.

My upcoming book "Experience: The Magic of Jon Allen" has a full rubber band routine in it. It has five phases and I do it all the time for walkabout and soemtimes tables. It starts witht e removal of a band through your wirst and ends with the restoration of a band around someone else's wrist. There's a few touches to add to effects you may already do and also a cool 'flourish' with a rubber band.

In case anyone's interested, the Camirand Academy of Magic sells size 19 rubber bands made to their specs, and they handle beautifully. From the adcopy:
* They're made from the purest latex content available. * The quality is well above those sold in stationary or office supply stores. * They are softer and stronger than anything else available. It's $5.00 U.S. for a box of approximately 100 (they're sold by weight). Here's a link: http://www.camirandmagic.com/ac_024.html |

With Alliance pure latex rubber bands you get 1lb or several thousand size 19 rubber bands for under $5.

The Alliance are pale crepe in color which makes them translucent to the naked eye. The color causes the edges to blur. All number 19 rubber bands have the same length, diameter, and pure latex is pure latex.

One final note then I'm out
it is really not the bands it is the performer working the bands that count. |

Russ Niezdwicki (sp ?) has a nice routine, called Pinnacle. I do this one myself following CMH, and uses a borrowed ring.
